VIA Labs, a subsidiary of VIA Technologies, has now introduced to the world its second-generation SuperSpeed USB host controller, a little chip called VL811 that can handle four USB 3.0 ports and can be used in stand-alone hubs, docking stations and integrated motherboards.

Court maintains Galaxy Tab 10.1 sales ban, only Germany suffers
A Dusseldorf court has today ruled to uphold the previously-ordered injunction on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 which prevents Samsung's tablet from being sold in Germany. Fortunately for the rest of the EU, the court stopped at the border and confirmed the ban only applies to Samsung's German subsidiary.
