MSI releases the A75MA-G55 (FM1) motherboard for Llano APUs
No A-Series (Llano) APU available just yet? Apparently that's no problem for MSI who already release a motherboard that supports such chips, the A75MA-G55. This board has a micro ATX form factor and, as expected, is powered by the A75 chipset.

Asus' P31S & P41S Sandy Bridge laptops are ready for serious labor
Asus started this week by saying nice things about the latest additions to its ASUSPro notebook line, the 13.3-inch P31S and 14-inch P41S models which are based around Intel's Huron River platform and are designed so as to withstand tougher environments.

HTC EVO 3D to reach Europe next month
Recently released in the US (courtesy of Sprint), HTC's EVO 3D smartphone is now gearing up to bring its 3D features and capabilities (4.3-inch glasses-free 3D touchscreen and dual rear-facing 5 megapixel cameras enabling 3D 720p video recording) to Europe.

Asus said to be rolling out its slim Eee PC X101 netbook next month
Not even a month has passed since its unveiling but the Eee PC X101 netbook is claimed to be ready for its time in the spotlight. This new, slim (17.6mm) and light (950 grams) Eee PC model is supposed to go on sale in July in two versions - one running MeeGo and one with Windows 7 pre-installed.

ASRock's FM1 (A75-powered) motherboard line gets detailed
Hoping to continue its good streak, Taiwanese manufacturer ASRock has prepared a strong offer for AMD's incoming A-Series APUs (accelerated processing units) which consists of no less than five motherboards (two ATX and three micro ATX) based around the AMD A75 chipset.

Gigabyte tweaks its 950 MHz-clocked GeForce GTX 560 Ti SOC
Moving stealthy and swift, Gigabyte Technology has slipped under the radar a second revision of its GV-N560SO-1GI-950 card. The updated model has the same frequencies as the first version but is equipped with a new cooler boasting two larger (100mm maybe) parallel inclined fans.

Thinking that everything can be improved, Prolimatech has worked, toiled and managed to upgrade the Megahalems CPU cooler by giving it a sexy black coating, a new base polish and support for new processors and for all kinds of 120mm and 140mm fans.

Intel releases the non-extreme Core i7-980 hexa-core CPU
The Core i7-980X Extreme Edition processor may have been taken off Intel's menu (although it's still available for orders until September 30th) but now another, very similar hexa-core chip has taken its place, offering pretty much the same performance for a lower price tag.

HP reportedly prepping a 7-inch tablet for August
With just a few more days to go until the release of the 9.7-inch TouchPad (the device will become available in the US as of Friday, July 1st), a rumor is making the rounds claiming that HP is planning the release of a second webOS-powered tablet this summer.

Fujitsu says LifeBook TH40/D tablet PC is not yet ready for release
Previously announced as a late June release (in Japan at least), the LifeBook TH40/D tablet PC from Fujitsu has suffered a delay, with no new launch plans being provided as of yet. The LifeBook TH40/D is Fujitsu's first mobile device based around Intel's Oak Trail platform.
