Streaming Music Crosses $1B In US Sales
Wait a minute, I thought the RIAA said piracy was killing the industry? So how are massive numbers like this even possible?

The Recording Industry Association of America counted revenue from subscription services like Spotify and Apple Music, radio like Pandora and Sirius XM, and ad-supported operations like Vevo, YouTube and free versions of Spotify. Those sales jumped 23 percent to $1.03 billion.

Uber Loses Bid To Force Arbitration On Driver

A former Uber Technologies Inc. driver defeated the company's bid to force her into arbitration, a second victory after California's labor commissioner said she should have been considered an employee.

Pirate Bay: Police Never Got Our Servers
So if the police didn't get the servers belonging to The Pirate Bay in that last raid, who do all those servers belong to?

Late last year The Pirate Bay was pulled offline after Swedish police raided a datacenter near Stockholm. The police confiscated dozens of servers which many believed to belong to the notorious torrent site. Today, the TPB team reveals that this is not the case.

Samsung, SK Hynix To Supply High Bandwidth Memory to NVIDIA
If this rumor proves to be true, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are planning to supply NVIDIA with High Bandwidth Memory as early as Q1 2016. It looks like all you guys were right.

According to industry sources on Sept. 20, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are planning to mass produce second-gen High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) for Nvidia's Pascal GPU starting in the first quarter of next year, after completing pilot production and reliability tests by the end of 2015.

Internet Growth Slows; Most People Still Offline
The United Nations Broadband Commission says that internet growth has slowed and more than half the people on the planet are without access to porn on the internet.

By the end of this year, 3.2 billion people will have some form of regular access to the Internet, up from 2.9 billion in 2014. That is 43.4 percent of the world's population, still far short of a U.N. target of 60 percent by 2020.
