Nintendo shoots down rumors, NX may not run Google Android
The Nintendo NX, a next-generation console the Japanese company is currently working on, may not run Google Android.

Considering Nintendo has been making gaming consoles - and various other gaming-centric offerings - since the early 1980s, it shouldn't be surprising to hear they will keep the NX's console development in-house. Despite the reports in Japanese media, it seemed a bit too hard to believe Nintendo would suddenly rely on outside help to develop an OS for the company.
The NX won't be publicly unveiled until 2016, and Nintendo hasn't released any additional information about the unit.

ViewSonic LightStream PJD5255 Projector Review
Introduction
Many years ago, I had a projector setup in my lounge room, but back then even a mid-range projector cost north of $2000. I settled on a Sony projector that was capable of outputting 720p back when the Xbox 360 launched, and spent close to $5000 on a projector and pull-down screen. It was quite the setup back in the day, before LCD TVs really took off, and have now completely bottomed out in price.
In their XGA-capable range, ViewSonic has an impressive 13 different products to handle all corners of the market. The company also splits these projectors into their respective markets: entertainment, business, LightStream, government, education, and LED.
Specifications & Availability
The ViewSonic LightStream PJD5255, as the company explains it, is a "price-performance projector features 3300 lumens, native XGA 1024x768 resolution, and intuitive, user-friendly design". The last bit is definitely true, with some very easy-to-use functionality, which we'll get into soon. The PJD5255 features HDMI input, two VGA, composite video, S-video, one VGA output, audio in/out, mini USB and RS232. ViewSonic ensures that you'll have your device, laptop, or PC hooked up to the PJD5255 without a problem.
ViewSonic is aiming the PJD5255 projector to the education and small business environments, so this isn't a full-fledged home theater projector by any means. When it comes to price, the ViewSonic LightStream PJD5255 can be found on Amazon for $427.99 at the time of writing.

Shuttle Unveils Robust PCs with Built-in Broadwell Core i3, i5 and i7 Processors
Up to now, absolute noiselessness combined with compact dimensions meant sacrificing computing performance. Whenever high performance was called for, an active cooling system always had to be fitted. Shuttle now makes a difference and demonstrates that fanless computers and speed are no longer mutually exclusive.

With ultra-slim dimensions of 20 x 3.95 x 16.5 cm (DWH), the new models offer room for up to 16 GB of energy-efficient 1.35 V DDR3L memory on two SO-DIMM sockets. One 2.5" SATA drive with 6 Gbit/s can be installed, while a mini-PCI Express slot can be fitted with an mSATA SSD. A second mini-PCI Express slot has already a WLAN module built in. The outside of the steel case sports two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces with Intel controllers, 2x USB 3.0, 4x USB 2.0, audio ports and a card reader. The additional two serial interfaces and remote power-on connector ensure that the PCs can even be professionally used when the computer itself is not directly accessible.
There is also a DisplayPort connector and an HDMI port for monitors and TVs. As the DS57U3, DS57U5 and DS57U7 have an integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500, complex content including 2160p (4K) can be played back at full 60 Hz through the DisplayPort.
"After the successful launch of the DS57U in February this year, we are now launching three more models that are currently unrivalled on the market in terms of performance, silence and durability," states Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH.
"Fanless PCs combined with Intel Core processors in this form will be hard to find elsewhere."
The new models can be operated in various positions, e.g. space-saving on the pedestal supplied, lying flat on a desk or installed on suitable surfaces or monitors with the VESA mount provided. All models are approved for operation at ambient temperatures of between 0 and 40 °C.
Shuttle's recommended retail prices are 402.00 EUR for the Barebone DS57U3, 519.00 EUR for the DS57U5 and 673.00 EUR for the DS57U7 (all ex VAT). The machines featured in this press release are available from specialist retailers across Europe as of now. Initial shortages of the DS57U7 may occur.

Cooler Master Launches the MasterCase
Cooler Master is excited to announce the launch of the MasterCase, the world's first mid-sized modular tower with exterior expandability. The MasterCase heralds a new family of cases that offer unparalleled control over form and function. It draws inspiration from the MasterConcept, a revolutionary concept case developed at Cooler Master Headquarters in Taipei.

Cooler Master's FreeForm Modular System
The MasterConcept and MasterCase break new ground in the way PCs are designed, made, bought and used. Fundamental to this reimagining is FreeForm. Cooler Master wants users to have absolute control over how their case looks and functions. So FreeForm provides options to adjust the case exterior via the replacement of panels and doors, while also offering unparalleled flexibility for a mid-sized case in terms of interior layout.
Computex 2015 will see Cooler Master debut the MasterCase 5, a 460mm-tall modular tower that comes in three distinct iterations: MasterCase 5, MasterCase Pro 5 and MasterCase Maker 5.
Users can choose from the MasterCase 5's dual top handles and standard door, the MasterCase Pro 5's elevated mesh top cover, or the sleek lines, solid top cover and brooding, open-vent front door of the MasterCase Maker 5.
In the MasterCase, FreeForm allows a single case to support a host of different configurations, enabling users to upgrade rather than replace their case and system. Through a unique clip-and click panel, FreeForm also lets users vertically adjust or entirely remove drive cages, allowing for multiple system configurations like home servers, water-cooled workstations, or gaming rigs with dual-slot extra-long video cards.
Availability in the EU: August 2015.
