Report: Intel could announce Skylake CPUs, chipsets in August
If a new report by DigiTimes is correct, Intel could officially announce its Skylake CPUs and accompanying chipsets at the Gamescom trade show in early August. The site claims that we'll see the debut of the unlocked Core i7-6700K and Core i5-6600K there, along with the enthusiast-class Z170 chipset.
Digitimes also has some dirt on the rest of the Skylake lineup. We could see mainstream Core i7s and Core i5s based on the new silicon in late August or early September, alongside the H170 and B150 chipsets. As for the notebook versions of Skylake, Intel may release those parts in the fourth quarter of 2015.
These are just rumors, of course, but they track well with what we've heard about the Skylake lineup so far. If it's true, more information about these new CPUs is a little over a month away, which is exciting news indeed. We'll keep our eyes and ears open.

AMD's Radeon Fury X architecture revealed
The Radeon R9 Fury X made its big debut earlier this week at E3, and we were there to cover it. Today, AMD has decided to release most of the rest of the public info about the Fury X card and the new GPU behind it code-named Fiji. I've been traveling back from E3 and attempting to wrap my head around the relevant details of this new video card and graphics processor at the same time. The picture is just coming together, and it tells an interesting tale. Let me see if I can walk you through what you need to know.

Take a look at Radeon R9 390X cards from Sapphire and Asus
AMD promised that its 300-series Radeons would become available today during its "New Era of PC Gaming" event earlier this week. We've already covered cards ranging from the R7 360 to the R9 380, but today marks our first look at the range-topping R9 390 and R9 390X.
As with the rest of the Radeon 300-series cards, the 390 and 390X feature largely similar specs to the Radeon R9 290 and R9 290X before them. That makes sense, since they're all based on the same Hawaii silicon. Boost clocks ...
