LG Nitro HD coming to AT&T, packs 720p screen, LTE
Just announced for the Canadian market, LG's P930 flagship Android smartphone has been revealed to be inbound for the US too, the plan being for AT&T to ship it, likely sometime this year, under the name Nitro HD.

Google grabs more of the US search market, Yahoo slips
The scores from comScore are in and they show that in October people in the US have conducted 20.3 billion search queries, up 5% compared to September. Out of those 20 billion searches, 13.4 billion were made via Google sites, enabling the Mountain View company to grab 66.2% of the market.

Verzo introduces the Kinzo 'community-driven' Android smartphone
The Czech-American team of Verzo Technology has now officially launched its very smartphone, a device called Kinzo which runs only Android 2.2 (Froyo) but is pre-loaded with a custom GUI (Verzo GUI) that's going to be improved based on customer feedback.

VIA develops Nano X2-equipped VE-900 mini-ITX board for media PCs
VIA Technologies has put its Nano X2 dual-core processor to good use by building around it a mini-ITX motherboard for compact media PCs. This board is called VE-900, it packs a 1.4 GHz CPU and makes use of the VX900 chipset.

Marshall Major and Minor headphones get Apple-friendly remote
Audio specialist Marshall has now rolled out tweaked versions of its Major (on-ear) and Minor (in-ear) headphones which bear the 'FX' moniker and add to the original mix an in-line remote and microphone specifically designed to work great with Apple's iOS devices.

Nvidia updates PhysX software to version 9.11.1107
In addition to delivering a new graphics driver, Nvidia has this week made available an update for its PhysX System Software, the 9.11.1107 release which aims to resolve an issue causing PhysX to not be accelerated on Optimus PCs.

LG launches P330 13.3-inch ultra-thin laptop in Korea
LG Electronics has this week announced (in South Korea) the addition of a new thin and light notebook to its Xnote line, the P330. This model weights just 1.7kg, is 4.5mm thick and is the size of a 12-inch laptop since it uses a thin bezel (8mm) 13.3-inch (1366 x 768) LED-backlit display.

Firefox 9.0 goes beta, delivers JavaScript performance boost
Still going with the pedal on the floor, Mozilla has already made available a public beta version of the next major Firefox release, build 9.0. This update brings better JavaScript performance and improved support for HTML5, MathML and CSS.

EVGA starts selling LGA2011 mounting bracket for Superclock cooler

Nvidia reports higher revenue, profits for Q3 FY 2012
The third quarter of fiscal year 2012 has seen Santa Clara-based Nvidia Corp. make a revenue of $1.07 billion, up 4.9% sequentially and up 26.3% on-year, and a net income of $178.3 million, or $0.29 per diluted share, also up both on-quarter and on-year.

Apple delivers iOS 5.0.1 to fix battery life issues
iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users can now download the first update for iOS 5 which is supposed to resolve the battery draining issues of the operating system, and fix the problems with 'Documents in the Cloud'.

Chrome 15.0.874.120 available in 'stable' form
Google has just rolled out a new stable Chrome build, version 15.0.874.120 which is available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux and and features an updated V8 engine (3.5.10.23) as well as multiple bug and security fixes.
