It wasn't that long ago that I took an in depth look at Corsair's Special Edition white version of their 600T. I was extremely impressed with the entire case. Because of that I thought we would backtrack a little bit and take a look at what started it all, Corsair's 800D from the Obsidian Series of cases. Being their flagship model it's clear that it still has a lot to offer, lets dig in (finally) and see what all of the fuss is about.

Rich Tax Breaks Bolster Makers of Video Games
Hmmm, I'm kinda split on this one. I guess if I had to choose which multi-billion dollar corporation was going to get a tax break, I'd rather see the video game industry get it versus banks, oil companies and so on.
Those tax incentives — a collection of deductions, write-offs and credits mostly devised for other industries in other eras — now make video game production one of the most highly subsidized businesses in the United States, says Calvin H. Johnson, who has worked at the Treasury Department and is now a tax professor at the University of Texas at Austin.

Hacker Rattles Security Circles
The New York Times has given another self-important hacker fifteen minutes of fame. So why link it here? I think the whole thing sounds fake. From the hackers bio to the supposed reason for hacking the Dutch company DigiNotar, it all sounds made up. What do you think?
"I'm totally independent," he said in an e-mail exchange with The New York Times. "I just share my findings with some people in Iran. They are free to do anything they want with my findings and things I share with them, but I'm not responsible."

ECS Black Series A990FXM-A Review
The crew at Overclockers Club has just published a review of the ECS Black Series A990FXM-A motherboard today. Although the reviewer had a handful of issues with the board, the verdict is that they liked it when it worked.
The ominous heatsink dominates the board, although one may notice that it also manages to have a clean and subdued style. On a related note, one might notice something a little 'off' with this board. At first it might be difficult to identify what exactly it is, and then you see it; this board appears to lack a northbridge! This is mere illusion, however, as AMD's 990FX chipset is located underneath the same lumbering heatsink that takes care of the VRMs and MOSFETs.
