OCZ continues to release updates of their various SSD lines @ PCSTATS
"The SandForce SF-2200 controller does all the heavy lifting, pushing out listed reads of 559MB/s and writes of 527MB/s. This is almost exactly what we saw on the benchmarks in terms of max performance so OWC was true to their specifications. Fresh off of testing the OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS 240 GB drive we felt others would have a tough time topping its performance but OWC came through with a drive that eked out better scores more often than not. OWC is going to garner a lot of attention if they keep putting out products like the 240 GB Mercury EXTREME Pro 6g SSD as we found it to be the best overall performing SATA III drive we have tested to date..."

BitFenix Shinobi Window Case Review @ PCSTATS
"On the first page we referred to the Agility 3 240 GB SSD as the 'almost' Vertex because in many ways performance is very similar although not across the board and from a hardware perspective, they are very close in design. Like the Vertex 3, its performance on highly compressible data is the among the best we've seen for a single drive configuration. Even with incompressible data, it keeps pace on the writes but it's simply not as strong in the reads which is likely attributable to the difference in architecture with the Agility 3 using the ONFI 1.0 NAND offering less bandwidth..."... AMD Llano A-Series APU Sabine Notebook Platform Review @ PCSTATS
"BitFenix's goal with the Shinobi Window was to address the budget minded gamer and provide a lot of high end features in a mid tower case. In my opinion they pulled this off brilliantly by packing thoughtful features and only making modest compromises. The fit and finish is fabulous and the case has a very solid feel with the exception of the fairly thin side panels. The soft touch finish gives the case a bit of class and combined with the nice recessed vent lines really makes a statement. Look out high priced PC case manufacturers, there is a new sheriff in town and he is gunning for you..."

ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Professional Motherboard Review @ PCSTATS
"AMD Llano APUs will be available in notebooks ranging from $499 to $799 and after the performance numbers that we saw we believe they will do very well in the mainstream notebook market. For years Intel dominated the notebook market and for the first time in a decade the company needs to be worried. AMD has a mainstream notebook that excels at normal user tasks and destroys the games..."

E3 Expo 2011: Wrap-Up Coverage @ PCSTATS
"The gaming performance of the ASRock Fatal1ty Professional P67 motherboard was right on track with all of the Intel P67 offerings that we have looked at so far. In fact, it was even able to lead the pack at times. If I could change anything about the ASRock Fatal1ty Professional P67 motherboard there wouldn't be much. The only feature I would change is eliminating the IDE and Floppy headers. If this were an entry level motherboard, sure throw them on there for people looking to use the old hardware out of an existing system. The ASRock Fatal1ty Professional is aimed at the enthusiast market, and very few are going to use a floppy disk drive or an old and out-dated IDE hard drive..."

Gaming Cases from NZXT: Phantom and Vulcan @ PCSTATS
"The 2011 E3 Expo was supposed to be an exciting one for people who love new hardware. The rumors were swirling around this year's "Exceeding Imagination" theme with reports of a major new game platform releasing. Of course the rumors were right on target as we saw not only the debut of a brand new handheld game console, the Sony PlayStation Vita – or PSV, but we were also treated to the debut of Nintendo’s next-generation Wii console, the Wii U..."

ASUS M5A99X EVO AM3+ @ PCSTATS
We recently explored Sapphire's FleX edition of the new HD 6770, a black sheep in the new Northern Islands family still running on a Juniper-based core. Though it has a great value, the true entry-level cards for the 6xxx series are the 6450, 6570, and the 6670. Today we'll be sitting down with the latter of the three, to see if Sapphire adds a little extra value to the package.

Asus K53E-B1 @ PCSTATS
"In the beginning of this year, FSP launched its 80 Plus Gold power supply series, dubbed Aurum Gold series (which is a redundant name, by the way, since Aurum means "Gold" in Latin; calling something "Gold Gold" makes no sense). With models ranging from 400 W to 700 W, this series surprised everybody with its incredible low price, thanks to the unusual electronic architecture used. FSP is now launching another series based on the same design, featuring a modular cabling system and offered in 550 W, 650 W and 750 W versions. The first version won't be available in North America, but the other two should arrive in the North American market by the end of this month. Let's see if the 750 W model is a good buy."

AMD Catalyst 11.6 Windows 7 Driver Analysis @ PCSTATS
The ProBook 6360b is the latest addition to HP’s “b” series notebooks and their first in a 13.3” form factor. It's tailored for business professionals with a robust software suite including HP ProtectTools, Power Assistant and QuickWeb. Users will also appreciate the secure display latch, extended life battery options and docking station capabilities.
Our ProBook evaluation unit shipped with Intel’s Core i5-2410M, a 2.30 GHz Sandy Bridge processor that is capable of Turbo Boosting up to 2.90 GHz when needed. Much like the i5-2520M in the ThinkPad X1 we tested recently, this CPU features four processing threads and Intel HD 3000 Graphics with a max TDP of 35W.
Compared to Lenovo's X1, the ProBook 6360b has very similar display specifications, a slightly slower processor, identical graphics and the same amount of memory and hard drive space. But that's where the similarities end. The ProBook is admittedly plain and hefty while the X1 is a slim system which more of a consumer-designed look and feel.
