Dell starts wrapping up servers in mushroom-based packaging
PC maker Dell has kicked off a trial program through which it will ship PowerEdge R710 servers in packages that contain mushroom cushioning. Mushroom-based packages have already been tested in Dell's labs and proved capable of achieving the same safety standards as styrofoam and polyethylene.
