Dual SIM Dual Core Motorola XT882 Smartphone Hands-On
Motorola XT882 has two of everything! This four inch smartphone has an NVIDIA Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor, access to UMTS and EVDO networks with its Dual SIM, I mean the powerhouse even has a dual LED flash!
The stand out feature besides the NVIDIA processor is the dual SIM card slots which are targeted at different networks so you'll be able to have one SIM running on the UMTS network and the EVDO network, basically GSM & CDMA. In addition to this feature that is taylored at the Chinese market, the other physical design change that's region specific is the ports are covered to streamline the phone. The other thing is that CDMA phones here have SIM cards, this was the first time I'd seen this ability live in a hand set.
This four inch smartphone is running Android 2.3 or Gingerbread on its HD display, no other detailed specs were given as Motorola is pushing the concept of the phone rather then the specs at the moment. No word on what day this smartphone will be hitting the streets or at what price point, but we imagine its going to be competitive for this market.

Samsung's Galaxy S II is out soon and commercials are coming out every second day it seems, this one caught my eye on just how thin it was. Samsung's upcoming Android-powered Galaxy S II is only 8.49mm-thin! Insane! Check out the below video for the goods:

Windows 8: Webcam application to be included?
Windows 8 may be finally getting a webcam application for taking pictures and video. A YouTube user has posted some videos showing off the new webcam application. The video below shows off the app and we can see it has a basic UI (which could be changed in the future) which allows the user to configure webcam settings and application settings, the ability to take timed or instant pictures and record video clips.
If we navigate to Application Settings, there are five options: Webcam, Audio source, Resolution, Frame rate, and Audio recording level. Webcam Settings has five options: Brightness, Focus, Exposure, Zoom, and Flicker.
Personally I think it's long overdue, a proper webcam application in Windows - can't wait to get my cam on!

Nintendo's next-gen console codenamed Project Cafe, faster than the PS3, will look like a modernized SNES
Nintendo's next-gen console codenamed Project Cafe, aka Wii 2 has had some leaked details, estimated pricing, release dates, console design, processing architecture and of course, the name. According to people close to the project, Nintendo's next-gen console should have a retail price of between $350 and $400 and will ship from Taiwanese manufacturer, Foxconn in October of this year.
Things of course could change at any time and Nintendo could choose to delay the release until 2012 to build a mammoth supply of the consoles so there would be no stock restrictions for salivating customers wanting a new Nintendo-branded console. The console is set to be powered by AMD's R700 GPU architecture which should throw some seriously large punches at the NVIDIA 7800GTX-based processor in the PlayStation 3.
Like the Xbox 360, Nintendo's new console will feature a custom-built triple-core IBM PowerPC chipset but with faster clock speeds. The system will be capable of 1080p output with the potential for stereoscopic 3D - this has not been confirmed as a staple feature yet.
As for the actual design and look of the console, it has been rumored it will be roughly the same size as the Xbox 360 but it set to resemble a modernized version of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) - this will be a huge selling point for Nintendo if true.
And finally, Nintendo is considering naming the next-gen console "Stream", but this is only one name being thrown around at the Nintendo offices.

AVADirect Now Authorized XFX Reseller & System Integrator
XFX, one of the leading video card makers of NVidia GPUs, has teamed up with AVADirect. AVADirect is a registered reseller and integrator for this company. We buy our XFX products directly from the manufacturer and we pass on the savings to our customers.
"XFX dares to go where the competition would like to, but can't. That's because, at XFX, we don't just create great digital video components--we build all-out, mind-blowing, performance crushing, competition-obliterating video cards and motherboards. Oh, and not only are they amazing, you don't have to live on dry noodles and peanut butter to afford them."
As of recent, AVADirect has become an official XFX system integrator along with our achieved reseller status. We use XFX products in many of the system we build in our facility. They are well known for their unique design regarding the method of airflow used to cool specific graphics card models. XFX was one of the first graphics card manufacturer to remove the plastic shroud design involving passive airflow and creating a more robust heatsink and fan solution to go above an beyond the normal cooling measures. Within the past year XFX has made the decision to manufacturer only ATI based graphics cards to shift their focus on a single developer. At first, many Nvidia enthusiasts were sad but XFX gained the trust of loyal Nvidia customers to try the other side of the spectrum by using ATI HD graphics cards. We are excited to have partners with XFX further and look forward to future designs they bring to the market.
