NZXT intros the FS-200 200mm LED-equipped case fans
No new case this time from NZXT, no, today the Californian company is releasing a trio of fans, 200mm in size, which feature red, blue or green LEDs, a rifle bearing, 11 blades, a working speed of 700 RPM (+/- 200 RPM), and a sound output of 20.16 dBA.

Ubuntu 11.04 available for download
Sticking to its 6-month cycle, the Ubuntu team has today let loose its Natty Narwhal aka Ubuntu 11.04, the latest version of the (reasonably) popular open source Linux distribution. This release comes has the Unity interface replacing GNOME, as well as other goodies.

Social bookmarking service Delicious (formerly known as del.icio.us) has found a new home where it's supposed to receive more love and attention than it did when owned by Yahoo. Yes, Delicious was sold by Yahoo, the buyer being AVOS, the company of YouTube founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen.

Logitech's profits fall in March quarter, full-year results look good
Fiscal year 2011 didn't end on a particularly high note for Logitech as the fourth quarter (Q1 CY 2011) saw the company's revenues reach $525 million, up 4% on-year, while the net income crawled only to $2.8 million - down from the $24.5 million of Q4 FY 2010.

Intel readies 20GB 'Larsen Creek' SSD for use with Z68 boards
With the Z68 Express chipset Intel is introducing something called 'Smart Response Technology', an SSD caching function that would boost system performance. SRT requires one SSD and at least one HDD to work and the former could be the upcoming 311 Series aka 'Larsen Creek' drive.

Chrome 11 gets 'stable' status, packs HTML5 speech input, lots of fixes
You wouldn't know it, since it's not announced with big fanfare, but today is a significant day for Google Chrome as the first 11.x build of the browser has been given the Stable label and is now available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux systems.

Catalyst 11.4 released, up for grabs
AMD has now made available a new, WHQL-certified driver for its graphics. This latest release, known as Catalyst 11.4 and includes support for the Radeon HD 2000, HD 3000, HD 4000, HD 5000 and HD 6000 series desktop cards and the Radeon 3000 and 4000 series chipsets.
