NZXT intros the FS-200 200mm LED-equipped case fans
No new case this time from NZXT, no, today the Californian company is releasing a trio of fans, 200mm in size, which feature red, blue or green LEDs, a rifle bearing, 11 blades, a working speed of 700 RPM (+/- 200 RPM), and a sound output of 20.16 dBA.

Ubuntu 11.04 available for download
Sticking to its 6-month cycle, the Ubuntu team has today let loose its Natty Narwhal aka Ubuntu 11.04, the latest version of the (reasonably) popular open source Linux distribution. This release comes has the Unity interface replacing GNOME, as well as other goodies.

Lenovo IdeaPad S205 Brazos-powered netbook now up for grabs
Announced way back in January, Lenovo's IdeaPad S205 11.6-inch netbook, which is based around AMD's Brazos platform (the first Fusion solution), has now become available for purchase though its maker's online shop.

Enermax SpineRex full-tower case released in Europe
As promised last month, Enermax has now launched in Europe the SpineRex full-tower PC case which is set on housing the highest-end systems. This 'king-size' chassis measures 544 (D) x 213 (W) x 591 (H) mm, is black both inside and out, and supports everything from E-ATX to ATX and micro ATX boards.

Zotac comes up with the Brazos-based FUSION-ITX A-series motherboard
Zotac has just announced its newest product based around AMD's Brazos platform, a mini-ITX motherboard called FUSION-ITX WiFi A-series which is supposed to be a great choice for a low-power, compact HTPC.

Nvidia allowing SLI on AMD 990FX, 990X and 970 motherboards
No, hell isn't frozen yet, and no, this isn't a delayed April Fool's prank, Nvidia has actually announced that it has licensed its multi-GPU technology (SLI) to companies building motherboards based on AMD's AM3+-supporting 990FX, 990X and 970 chipsets.

LG's E2770V-BF monitor with TruMotion 120Hz tech on sale in the UK
Currently up for pre-order in the US, the E2770V-BF 27-inch gaming-ready monitor made by LG, is now available for purchase in the UK. This display makes use of the TruMotion 120Hz technology which, while not enabling 3D viewing, allows high-speed action sequences to lack motion blur.

2011 Intel SSD roadmap leaked, shows incoming consumer, enterprise drives
These first four months of 2011 have already seen Intel release the 510 Series and 320 Series solid state drives but this is just the tip of the iceberg as the chip company is planning to roll out even more SSDs this year, targeting both the consumer and enterprise segments.

Sapphire spices up its Radeon HD 6700 offer with Vapor-X, FleX models
Despite not being truly new products, the Radeon HD 6770 and HD 6750s are getting tons of support from Sapphire who has now introduced seven such cards - four HD 6770s and HD 6750s. Five of Sapphire's cards have reference clocks while the other two are overclocked.

I-O Data adding 3TB model to its HDCA-UT family of external hard drives
I-O Data has only recently begun shipping the 1TB and 2TB HDCA-UT series external hard drives and already it is preparing a 3TB HDD complement them. The upcoming 3TB drive has an USB 3.0 interface, it measures 39 (W) x 185 (D) x 120 (H) mm, and can be installed both vertically and horizontally.

While most companies are more comfortable with releasing mini PC or nettop barebones, Gigabyte Technology has went ahead and designed the GB-AEBN, an all-in-one barebone which allows buyers to choose how much memory, what storage solution, what optical drive to install.

PowerColor joins AMD's card renaming club, intros the Radeon HD 6700s
Sure AMD didn't bother with a new GPU for the Radeon HD 6700 series cards, but that's no reason for PowerColor to stay on the sidelines, so today it announced its very own Juniper-based Radeon HD 6770 and HD 6750.

Logitech's profits fall in March quarter, full-year results look good
Fiscal year 2011 didn't end on a particularly high note for Logitech as the fourth quarter (Q1 CY 2011) saw the company's revenues reach $525 million, up 4% on-year, while the net income crawled only to $2.8 million - down from the $24.5 million of Q4 FY 2010.

Juniper lives on, AMD confirms Radeon HD 6770 and HD 6750 for retail
AMD has previously admitted to selling OEM-only Radeon HD 6700 series cards which are powered by the Juniper GPU also found on the Radeon HD 5700s. Now, the company has extended the Juniper-based Radeon HD 6700 family to retail, giving customers something old, with a touch of new.

Google Docs app for Android now available
Android users rejoice as you're getting a new, free app from Google, one that allows you to create, edit, upload and share documents. That's right, it's a Google Docs app, now awaiting download in the Android Market. An Android 2.1+ device is needed to run this one.

Intel readies 20GB 'Larsen Creek' SSD for use with Z68 boards
With the Z68 Express chipset Intel is introducing something called 'Smart Response Technology', an SSD caching function that would boost system performance. SRT requires one SSD and at least one HDD to work and the former could be the upcoming 311 Series aka 'Larsen Creek' drive.

Chrome 11 gets 'stable' status, packs HTML5 speech input, lots of fixes
You wouldn't know it, since it's not announced with big fanfare, but today is a significant day for Google Chrome as the first 11.x build of the browser has been given the Stable label and is now available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux systems.

Catalyst 11.4 released, up for grabs
AMD has now made available a new, WHQL-certified driver for its graphics. This latest release, known as Catalyst 11.4 and includes support for the Radeon HD 2000, HD 3000, HD 4000, HD 5000 and HD 6000 series desktop cards and the Radeon 3000 and 4000 series chipsets.
