MSI unveils the feature-packed CX640MX 15.6-inch laptop
Having recently introduced the CX640 in the US, MSI is now preparing a tweaked version of the laptop which is called CX640MX and comes bearing a heap of goodies, like the HiFre Antenna signal enhancement technology, an ambient light sensor (helps save batter life) and SRS audio.

EVGA updates its P67 motherboard offer
EVGA has now announced the expansion of its LGA1155 offer and the re-introduction of the P67 SLI (which most likely got the B3 stepping update). Beside the P67 SLI, EVGA P67 line-up includes the new P67 FTW which targets overclockers and offers quite a few interesting features.

Apple said to have finished work on its cloud-based music service
If the latest report is true then Apple's extensively-rumored cloud-based music service is ready, not ready for launch but ready in terms of concept, structure, inner workings. All that's required now is a bunch of licensing deals to please major record labels.

Rambus in the red again, posts $4.2 million loss for Q1
In lack of any court win cash, Rambus' Q1 was uneventful and thus worse than Q4 2010. This past quarter the company's revenues reached $62.5 million, down 31% sequentially, while the net loss recorded was of $4.2 million - a far reach from the $33.1 million of Q4.

AMD's revenue slips in Q1 but the profits grow
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) doesn't have any record results to brag with (like Intel and Apple) but it can safely say its Q1 was more than decent thanks to a revenue of $1.61 billion (down 2% sequentially, up 2% on-year), and a net income of $510 million (up from $375 million in Q4 2010).

Samsung respons to Apple lawsuit with multiple infringement complaints
One week after Apple sued it for allegedly copying its iPhone/iPad designs and technology, Samsung Electronics has retaliated by filing in complaints against the Cupertino company in South Korea, Japan and Germany. Apple's legal slap was 'given' in the US.

Lenovo's ThinkPad X220 laptop & X220 convertible tablet now up for grabs

Seagate to acquire Samsung's HDD unit, 'strategic alignment' planned
Seagate Technology and Samsung Electronics have just announced the signing of a major deal which will see them collaborate on multiple storage-related fronts. One major part of the deal will be Seagate's acquisition of Samsung's hard drive business for about $1.375 billion (50% cash / 50% stock).
