GeForce 270.51 beta driver outed, brings performance boosts, update feature
Nvidia has now let loose the 270.51 beta driver which includes support for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 series cards and for ION GPUs, packs an update function that alerts users about new releases, and increases performance of the GeForce 400 and 500 families.

Sparkle releasing GeForce GTX 450 with 1/2GB of DDR3 memory
Catering to the needs of gamers on a tight budget, Sparkle Computer is set to introduce two GeForce GTS 450 cards which utilize DDR3 memory instead of the more expensive GDDR5 VRAM. Sparkle's DDR3 cards pack 1GB and 2GB of memory and are based on a custom design.

Xilence's M608 Pro cooler claims to be efficient and quiet, nonintrusive
A recent release that almost slipped under our radar is the M608 Pro, a new CPU cooler from Xilence Technology which makes use of a TopFlow design and supports Intel LGA 775/1155/1156/1366 and AMD AM2/AM2+/AM3 processors.

Chrome OS netbooks planned for Q2 debut

IDC predicts almost 50% growth in smartphone shipments for 2011
According to predictions made by market intelligence firm IDC, the smartphone market will experience a big boost this year, with shipments being expected to top 450 million units, up from 303.4 million of 2010.
