Sharkoon AL2 and AL4 PC cases hit European stores
Sharkoon has now rolled out in Europe two reasonably-affordable PC cases which feature an all-aluminum construction, the AL2, supporting mini-ITX and micro ATX motherboards, and the AL4, which can house full-sized ATX boards.

Lenovo's ThinkPad W520 mobile workstation is up for sale
Just over a month after its unveiling, the ThinkPad W520 mobile workstation from Lenovo, which is based on Intel's Huron River platform, features a 15.6-inch (1366 x 768 or 1600 x 900) LED-backlit display, and runs Windows 7 (Home Premium or Professional), is now available for purchase.

Western Digital shipping 3TB My Book Live network drive
Western Digital has now introduced a new, high-capacity model to its My Book Live family of external hard drives. The 3TB HDD in question has the same connectivity options as the 1TB and 2TB versions - Gigabit Ethernet, and is bundled with the WD SmartWare software for automatic backup.

Green House brings to market 64GB PicoDrive N flash drive
Green House has recently expanded its PicoDrive N line of flash drives through the release of a 64GB model. The new drive, like its smaller siblings, measures 54.1 x 18 x 8.1 mm, weights 7.5 grams, and has an USB 2.0 interface.

AMD said to release Barts-powered Radeon HD 6790 next week - update
According to reports, on the last day of Q1 AMD will introduce a new graphics card based around the Barts 40nm GPU, a mid-range model called Radeon HD 6970 which would be under the HD 6850 in terms of performance but consume more power.

Lenovo details the ThinkStation E30 and ThinkCentre M81 desktops
PC maker Lenovo has just revealed a couple of new additions to its product portfolio, the successor of the ThinkStation E20 workstation (aka the E30) and the reasonably-compact (it's available in tower and SFF versions) ThinkCentre M81 business system.
