Samsung Electronics has today pushed out a multitude of press releases detailing various products, and one of those talks about a trio of laptops that are designed to be used in enterprise or educational environments, the Series 2, Series 4 and Series 6.

WiFi-only Motorola Xoom tablet set for March 27 release (in the US)
For those craving an Android 3.0 tablet but not ready to spend $799 for one, Motorola will be offering, as of March 27 in the US, a $599 Xoom tablet that lacks 3G connectivity and relies on WiFi for most of its wireless connectivity needs.

Dell Latitude E5420, E5520, E6420 & E6520 laptops go on sale
Revealed last month as part of Dell's refreshed business line-up, the 14-inch Latitude E5420, E6420 and 15.6-inch E5520 and E6520 laptops which are based on Intel's Huron River platform, have now become available for purchase through Dell.com.

LEPA intros the N-Series and W-Series power supplies
Ecomaster is cone again putting its LEPA brand to work, this time using it to release two new power supply lines, the N-Series (targeting system integrators) and the W-Series (for gamers). Units for both families are non-modular and comply with the EU ErP Lot 6 2010 standby power draw requirements.

Alleged HTC Pyramid pictures surface
HTC is still silent about it but the rumored Pyramid smartphone just won't stay hidden, with the latest leak providing a couple of renders of the upcoming Android device. Pyramid is said to run Android 3.0 (although we're guessing it will use Android 2.3 Gingerbread) and should debut this quarter.

MSI announces the CX640 and CR640 Sandy Bridge-based laptops
Continuing with its updating schedule, MSI has today introduced two more laptops based on the Intel Huron River platform, the 15.6-inch CX640 and CR640. Both models are promoted as multimedia notebooks and feature a smooth metallic brush finish and a pretty sweet F1-like 'Start' power button.

iGo Arctic laptop cooling pad has movable fan, offers 'ergonomic comfort'
Whether or not spring started to settle in your region, iGo Inc. is offering a new cooling solution, not for you though, for your trusty ol' notebook/laptop. Named Arctic, the cooling pad released by iGo works with machines up to 17-inch in size and allows for a more comfortable use.

Colorful GeForce GTX 550 Ti has dual-BIOS, twin-fan cooler
Colorful Technology has joined the GeForce GTX 550 Ti crowd too but not without making waves as its card has a custom design with 5-phase power, two on-board BIOSes (one with stock clocks, one with something more), and a quite beefy cooler boasting two fans.

Asus' 'ultimate' GeForce GTX 550 Ti has 1015 MHz GPU clock
Asus didn't hold back for the GeForce GTX 550 Ti launch and announced three such cards, all factory-overclocked (more or less) and equipped with the DirectCU cooler which is supposed to allow for 20% lower temps than are possible with the reference cooler.

Sharkoon QuickStore Portable Pro enclosure offers support for 12.5mm HDDs
Sharkoon Technologies has this week introduced a new hard drive/solid state drive/hybrid hard drive enclosure, one QuickStore Portable Pro which comes in USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 versions and support one 2.5-inch SATA drive that's either 9.5mm or 12.5mm thick.

Transcend's SSD18C3 USB 3.0 solid state drive gets priced in Europe
Unveiled earlier this month, the SSD18C3 portable solid state drives from Transcend are almost ready to hit stores, so the official European pricing for both the 64GB and 128GB models have been announced - â‚¬169 and â‚¬299. Both SSDs are found on pre-order with lower price tags though.

Harman releases the AKG GHS-1 gaming headset
Audio gear specialist Harman has now let loose the AKG GHS-1, a wired yet portable gaming headset which is supposed to deliver a 'whole new level of realism, excitement, portability and comfort'. It's also trading in style, being released in three color combos.

Nvidia CFO David White resigns, search for replacement kicks off
Nvidia has to start a new exec search as CFO (chief financial officer) David White has handed in his resignation, citing personal reasons. White will remain at the Santa Clara-based company until May 31st but already Nvidia appointed Karen Burns, vice president of tax, as interim CFO.

Intel preps Atom-based server chips for 2012
Claiming to answer market needs, Intel Corp. has went ahead and announced the expansion of its server offer with multiple processors which specifically target micro servers. These chips top 45W in terms of TDP and are set to be used in low-power, single-socket solutions.

Lexar shipping 64GB and 128GB Class 10 SDXC memory cards
Three months after announcing them, Lexar Media has now begun delivering its 64GB and 128GB Professional series SDXC (Secure Digital eXtended Capacity) memory cards which are suited for high-resolution images and HD video storage thanks to their 20 MB/s minimum transfer speed.
