AT&T Plans To Grow
With Internet and wireless phone services taking more growth every year, and more and more Americans hopping on board of the digital train, it is obvious why AT&T has been prospering, along with companies such as Time Warner and Comcast. What is not obvious though, is all of the changes that the company has been making to plan this growth, and how it is changing the industry for now and for the future. Just recently, AT&T has started automatically subscribing consumers to its mobile tethering plan if caught tethering on the network without it, even with an unlimited plan. Also in the news has been its decision to cap DSL subscribers to 150GB per month and U-Verse subscribers at 250GB per month, with every 50GB costing ten dollars more. Even with the uproar going on in the consumer region, the company is in talks and agreements with T-Mobile to merge its wireless services for a cost of $39 billion, $14 billion of which is just AT&T stock. This alone with make AT&T cover 130 million Americans, and in most peoples eyes, would bring on the old monopoly form that it once had before being broke up. This arrangement still has to pass the hands of the United State government, but there is no telling what changes AT&T has in store if the agreement actually does take place with T-Mobile, one of the four main mobile carriers. Join the discussion on the forums, and voice to the OCC community your thoughts on this proposed deal.

Dell Offers Streak Deal
With the Streak being priced fairly high, and its features not astounding too many people in the industry right now, the product is a hard choice for customers on the look out for a mobile device. Dell is however now offering a special deal, in which the Streak 5 will be offered at just under one hundred dollars, if bought with a computer that is more than $699. This makes it a very good deal, as the Dell Streak in this offer, is discounted at $480, which is more than any coupon code will offer. This also could be an incentive for customers who are looking for a new laptop to pick up the brand new revised Dell Inspiron R series laptops, which will seal the deal concerning the Streak 5, since most of the new laptop in the series are over the $699 price point.
