Foxconn announces Quantum Force Rattler P67 board
Despite many rumors, Foxconn's branded motherboard business is still moving forward and the company is now announcing a new Quantum Force series product, an ATX board called Rattler which is powered by Intel's P67 chipset and supports LGA1155 Core processors. The Rattler features a black/red color scheme, a passive Cool Pipe cooling solution, 14-phase PWM, four DDR3-2133 memory slots, one ATA port (yes, parallel ATA), two SATA 6.0 Gbps and four SATA 3.0 Gbps connectors, and two PCI-Express x16 slots allowing for CrossFireX setups.

WD launches largest My Book Studio Edition yet
Western Digital put out one of the largest capacity dual-disk external drives on Thursday by introducing a 6TB version of the My Book Studio Edition II. The device packs two of the still-rare 3TB drives, optionally in a RAID mirror or stripe, and is aimed primarily at creative pros who deal with very large photos or videos on a regular basis. It comes pre-formatted for Macs; it can be reformatted for Windows, but it needs Vista or 7 (or their server counterparts) to see more than 2.1TB.
