Corsair, A-Data, promise to show off 520 MB/s SSDs at CeBIT
OCZ and Patriot have spearheaded the official launch of the SandForce SF-2000 controllers, but A-Data and Corsair will follow soon as next week (March 1-5) at CeBIT 2011 in Hannover they will both showcase their SF-2000-powered solid state drives.

Following years of research, Intel's Light Peak connection technology is finally making its debut but not under the name known so far. Renamed Thunderbolt, this new I/O solution offers two bi-directional channels with a bandwidth of 10Gbps, and is compatible with DisplayPort devices.

PC processor shipments stay flat in Q4 2010, Intel grabs 80.8% of the market
Tablets (and other factors) made a big impact on the PC microprocessor market at the end of 2010, with research firm IDC concluding that CPU shipments in the fourth quarter have basically remained flat (they were actually down by under 1%) compared to both Q3 and to Q4 of 2009.
