Alienware M17x R3 with 3D Vision Gaming Laptop Review @ PCSTATS
"Seagate has always produced excellent hard drives and these two portable series are no exception. These portable drives have the robust features that most desktop style external drives have, yet they can be toted with you anywhere you go. The 640GB Go drive, while only having a USB 2.0 interface, has full versions of the Seagate suite for your entire backup and sync needs. The 500GB GoFlex has multiple interfaces available for it including USB 3.0, FireWire and even powered eSATA. The drawback to the GoFlex is the software that comes standard on the Go series is only trials on the GoFlex, with the exception of the Instant Backup. I am at a loss as to why Seagate took a step back in this department."... [REVIEWS] via PCSTATS

Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB @ PCSTATS
“If your working scenario requires a dedicated tablet the lure of Apple’s iPad is great and becoming greater as time goes on—as long as you’re not tied to Windows. Convertible tablet PCs suit those who need a physical keyboard and tablet features, but the trade-off is weight, bulk and less convenience when using a laptop in tablet mode. In the case of the Panasonic ToughBook CF-C1, the price reflects the semi-rugged features rather than the specifications, and may feel to some rather steep. Convertible tablet manufacturers need to keep at least half an eye on the tablet world going forward, and Panasonic needs to consider reducing its unit costs.”... Galaxis ARES Mid Tower Chassis @ PCSTATS
The Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB drive really has us looking at upgrading some of our older traditional hard drives to this new drive due to the fact that it has plenty of storage, all readily available at quick speeds. The differences seen when comparing this drive to a drive that was a fine performer just a short while ago are astonishing to say the least. Seagate keeps the power usage of the drive down thanks to a lower spindle speed of 5900 RPMs, which is great when the drive is used in a desktop, but even better when it is used in an 'always on' setting such as NAS or DAS. Lower RPMs also translate into lower temperatures, another added bonus.... [BJORN3D] via PCSTATS

Antec Soundscience Rockus 3D 2.1 Speaker System Review @ PCSTATS
"A few weeks ago I received a random e-mail from a company I haven't heard from before, but I am always eager to look at what new companies can bring to the market. I was informed of this company named Coonix who has been, for a while now, building OEM components for well known manufacturers. They are based out of City of Industry, California. After a fair bit of time with the OEM business, Coonix developed their own branding. So let me cordially introduce them to the US market. Galaxis plans to be a leading name in power supplies as well as many other facets of the PC building experience. The name Galaxis isn't all together new, as they already have parts on six continents and the company boasts employment of over 2000 people currently. With aspirations to bring customers affordable, quality products full of innovation and creativity, at least they are on the right path to success. They are more known for their power supplies, but they are now taking steps to bring us some new chassis designs to ponder on our next purchase."... [TWEAKTOWN] via PCSTATS

MSI R6950 Twin Frozr II OC edition review @ PCSTATS
“We all know Antec for making great PC cases and power supplies. We all know someone with an Antec case and that just shows the quality of their products. Antec knows a lot about making cases and power supplies, but when I heard they were going to making speakers a was a little bit skeptical. We have seen so many companies just use an OEM to get into another market, and what comes out is a very poor product. Luckily Antec is not one of those companies, they introduce you to Soundscience an Antec subsidiary that is set to produce audio and video lifestyle products. Their first product is the Rockus 3D 2.1 Speaker System and we have them up on the testing block today." ... [THINKCOMPUTERS] via PCSTATS

Asus RT-N56U Dual-Band router @ PCSTATS
Today we have a new review on the Radeon HD 6950. A series (6900) that has been received with somewhat mixed feelings. Everybody expected the overall performance to be a notch higher. As such MSI went back to the drawing board and redesigned the PCB, armed it with quality components and decided that they would need to slap a nice cooler on there. As such we see the model as tested today, running slightly above reference specification yet with the latest twin Frozr II cooler mounted on top of it. Check out the article right here. ... Asus E35M1-M PRO Micro ATX @ PCSTATS
ASUS has products in most areas including computers, laptops, mobile phones and computer components. It is therefore not surprising that they also have network products. In today's review we test their flagship network product, the ASUS RT-N56U. As expected from a flagship product ASUS has gone all-out with the N56U, giving it impressive specifications including support for both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz with a theoretical speed of 300 Mbps on each frequency at the same time, support for external hard drives and printers, support for up to 300,000 sessions at once and true Gigabit-speeds over both the WAN- and the LAN-ports. All these features come in a very stylish package. But is it all too good to be true? We've seen high spec'ed routers that fail to live up to the hype. Read on to find out if the ASUS RT-N56U falls in that category or if ASUS has a winner on their hands.... [BJORN3D] via PCSTATS

Logitech G35 Surround Sound Headset Review @ PCSTATS
"We've used the LSI 9260-8i for the past year to test multiple drive RAID arrays. The choice was pretty clear after testing the 9260-8i against several other hardware RAID controllers since it offered such a well designed software interface and blazing fast performance. The real standout feature, though, was the software interface used to build and manage arrays. Today we are taking a look at the LSI MegaRAID 9280-24i4e, the flagship model in the MegaRAID lineup. The 9280 Series uses the same MegaRAID Storage Manager Software that we feel is the best in the industry and also shares all of the cutting edge features, like SSD Guard. The 9280-24i4e does have a big advantage over our daily use MegaRAID controller and that is its ability to run 24 internal SATA / SAS ports and an additional 4 external ports at the same time. This is done without port multipliers and all SATA / SAS connections go back to the MegaRAID 9280-24i4e."... [TWEAKTOWN] via PCSTATS

MSI Big Bang P67 Marshal review @ PCSTATS
“It has been a while since I have reviewed a headset. I have been using the same one for quite some time and I was in need of an upgrade. Let’s take a look and see if this headset was the right choice for my upgrade."... [LOGITECH] via PCSTATS

Corsair Vengeance Series PC3-12800 8GB Kit @ PCSTATS
Powered by Intel's P67 chipset, the MSI Big Bang Marhal comes with MSI's latest Military Class II design that makes use of a 24 phase (!) power SFC choke setup alongside the best quality Hi-c CAP's and Japanese made solid capacitors. Added to the mix for additional PCIe lanes is a Hydra chip, which also can be utilized to combine mix and match graphics cards in a multi-GPU setup. The board comes with 24-phase DrMOS power design, voltage monitoring points, an external overclock device called the OC dashboard, that all new EFI BIOS, dual-BIOS selectable with a simple button, and OC genie button that allows you to have say a 2500K processor run at 4200 with the flick of a switch. I'm not done though, we spot integrated audio with SoundBlaster X-Fi application (software) layer, ten SATA ports of which four are based on the all new SATA 6G. Thick heatpipe (passive and thus silent) cooling and more and more. ... [GURU3D] via PCSTATS

Innergie mCube Review @ PCSTATS
The release of P67 hasn't done much in the way of RAM requirements, which for the most part is great. We say for the most part only because the lack of changes means that there's nothing super exciting about RAM on the new platform. With that said, though, there's a change when it comes to JEDEC standard; 1600MHz DDR being the stock minimum clock now and CL9 timings also being the minimum at those speeds. Companies aren't going to have an issue, though, as we've been dealing with speeds well above 1600MHz DDR for a long time now. So the good news is that if you want to upgrade to P67 from your P55 platform, which as we've shown you in our articles on Sandy thus far, would be quite a nice upgrade, you won't need to buy yourself new memory if you're using something decent already. This is great news for people who have invested in more expensive memory. The first company to bring memory to us for the new P67 platform is Corsair with the Vengeance series. This isn't the first time we've looked at the series. Actually, the last RAM review we did was pretty much the exact same kit, but in triple channel form."... [TWEAKTOWN] via PCSTATS

Kingston HyperX Genesis 4GB 2133MHz DDR3 Memory Kit Review @ PCSTATS

Intel To Launch More Sandy @ PCSTATS
"The Kingston HyperX Genesis 2133MHz kit "suits up" in special edition grey and cranks up the memory speed. The Core i7 2600K is already a stellar processor when running 1333MHz memory, but when you turn up the clock speed it's clear that Sandy Bridge has room to grow in performance from increasing the memory speed also. Backed by a lifetime warranty and the biggest name in the memory business, this great looking kit of memory from Kingston Technology should be on the short list of anyone wanting to wring every last bit of performance from their new Intel Sandy Bridge CPU..." ...
