Amazon says third-gen Kindle is best seller ever but won't give out numbers
Amazon is once again praising its e-book reader, this time claiming that the third-generation Kindle has become the best-selling product in its history. You'd think that now Amazon would back this announcement with some sales number but no, we still can't officially know how many were sold.

Rambus and Renesas sign five-year license deal
Rambus has apparently been good this year as Santa put under its three a shiny new, dollar-flavored license agreement already signed by Renesas Electronics (the company resulted from the merge of Renesas Technology and NEC Electronics).
