Spike TV held its annual awards show last night, giving out awards for the best games. Among the big winners were Red Dead Redemption for Game of the Year and BioWare for Studio of the Year. A full list of winners and awards can be found here. However, the bigger news of the night came in the form of game reveals and trailers. A number of games were confirmed, while many others were given an official release date. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Prototype 2, and SSX: Deadly Descents were confirmed by their respective publishers. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and Mass Effect 3 were given release dates taking place during the holiday season next year. Forza 4 and Resistance 3 will see the light in the Fall of next year. Additionally, Professor Hugo Strange was revealed as a villain in Batman: Arkham City.
