Enermax unveils the Jazzmate HDD/SSD enclosures
Enermax today officially released the Jazzmate series of HDD/SSD enclosures which support 2.5-inch SATA drives, feature a sleek, tool-free design, a detachable silicon sleeve providing anti-shock protection, and come in three versions - with USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and eSATA connectivity.

3DMark 11 delayed for some last minute bug fixing
Futuremark today sent out word that its new PC benchmarking software, 3DMark 11 will not make the November 30th release date announced earlier this month due to the need to fix some 'difficult' bugs. There's no updated launch date yet, but hopefully the delay won't be longer than a few days/a week.

Fraps 3.2.4 released, includes 3D Vision capture
beepa has now rolled out a new version of its benchmarking and screen shot/video taking software Fraps, and it brings support for D3D10 and D3D11 stereoscopic 3D Vision capture, and for the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 RC.

Palit GeForce GTX 570 specifications sheet leaks

Gartner lowers PC shipment predictions for 2010 and 2011
Claiming lower consumer demand and erosion due to increased interest in tablets, research firm Gartner has lowered its forecasts regarding PC shipments for both this year and the next. The company now believes that this year the PC market will grow by 14.3% (the previous prediction was of 17.9%).

MSI FX610 15.6-inch laptop reaches Europe
MSI Europe has recently rolled out the August-announced FX610 laptop which is based on an AMD platform. The new mobile PC runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, features a 15.6-inch (1366 x 768) LED-backlit display, and comes in two base versions.

Acer adding Radeon HD 6000M graphics to its TimelineX laptops
Acer will next month be releasing updated versions of its Aspire TimelineX 3820TG (13.3-inch), 4820TG (14-inch) and 5820TG (15.6-inch) laptops which feature AMD's recently-introduced Mobility Radeon HD 6370 (512MB, 80 Stream Processors) and HD 6550 (1024MB, 400 SPs) graphics cards.

Elpida sampling 2Gb DDR3-1333/1600 DRAM for consumer electronics
Elpida today unveiled to the world its newest memory offering, "the industry's smallest" 2Gb DDR3 that supports an x16-bit I/O interface. The new chips can operate at 1600 MHz while powered at 1.5V or 1333 MHz when at 1.35V, and they comply with the DDR3-Plus standard enabling higher performance.

eLocity A7 Android tablet still not out, expected to ship in December
Previously planned for an October release, the eLocity A7 tablet is still not shipping to people who pre-ordered it but should start making its way to customers in December. The device is no longer available for pre-order but when it's price tag was $370.

Sharp's Galapagos e-readers to launch on December 10
Sharp has just announced that its Galapagos series 5.5-inch (EB-W51GJ-R/S) and 10.8-inch (EB-WX1GJ-B) e-book readers will start selling in its home market (Japan) on December 10. Together with the e-readers, Sharp will introduce an ebook store with over 20,000 books, newspapers and magazines.

Taiwanese company Evercool Thermal has recently unveiled its latest cooling solution, the low-profile HPL-815 which is compatible with Intel LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA775 and with AMD Socket AM3/AM2/AM2+/940/939/754 processors.

AMD lists two Radeon HD 6000M GPUs on its website
Without much fuss AMD has went ahead and added to its website mentions of two Radeon HD 6000M series mobile graphics solutions - the Radeon HD 6500M and HD 6300M. Both of these GPUs are made on 40nm process technology and resemble Radeon HD 5000M models.

Gateway rolls out Core i5-powered 11.6-inch laptop in Japan
Acer subsidiary Gateway has recently introduced in Japan the EC19C-A52C/S laptop which features a 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) display and packs a 1.33 GHz Core i5-470UM processor, Intel HD graphics, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive.
