Google launches Chrome 7 beta, dev channel update
Google has pushed out the fist beta version of Chrome 7. The latest test build is essentially the same as Tuesday's developer-channel release, which doesn’t really bring much new to the table besides taking care of a few minor bugs and crashes. It does however include a new ‘about:labs’ feature for experimental options, paving the way for several improvements already available in the cutting-edge developer version which received an update to 7.0.536.2 just yesterday.

Google Phone Gallery helps you pick an Android device
Google has just launched Google Phone Gallery, a webpage showcasing Android-powered devices "that deliver the best Google experience today." All the phones in the gallery include Android Market, Google Search, and other Google Mobile services such as Gmail, Maps, and YouTube. In other words, phones offering Bing or Yahoo options are not allowed in. A little unfortunate, if you ask us, because we'd love an official site featuring all Android devices.

Along with the expected 802.11 Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet network connectivity, the 15.6-inch (1366x768) NV59C66u packs a built-in Intel 6250 WiMAX card -- though, it might not be the best time to jump on that bandwagon. HP: Android phone and tablet abandoned, PalmPad is a go
It appears that Hewlett-Packard's multi-OS strategy will actually be a duo-OS strategy, at least when it comes to mobile devices. Android is no longer on the table, but Windows and webOS still are. HP is on track to deliver a tablet computer running webOS early next year, as well as a Windows-based tablet that will ship sooner, former Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein told the Financial Times. It has abandoned a project to launch a smartphone based on Google's Android open source operating system and there will be no tablet based on the system, Rubinstein said. The man has been in charge of HP's mobility group ever since the Palm acquisition.

Apple cripples maps and search results for Chinese iPhone 4
When we reported that the iPhone 4 was headed to China, there was no mention about how Apple would cripple the device under the government's orders. Those details are starting to surface, thanks to Ogle Earth. The maps app on the Chinese iPhone 4 can reportedly only display Google's Chinese government-approved version of the world, and it also censors Google's search results. The problem is worse this time around because the censorship is hardwired.

Thermaltake Level 10 Case Review
Those who read our case reviews know that we can be quite particular when it comes to selecting the right chassis for the job. In the past, we have been very skeptical of models priced over $200 as they often represent a terrible value. For example, the $400 NZXT Khaos weighs more than steel behemoths like the Thermaltake Armor+ while costing twice as much. Moreover, it is poorly designed, lacking many features present on sub-$200 cases.
