Taliban Renamed in Medal of Honor Multiplayer
Electronic Arts has just announced that the bad guys in the new Medal of Honor game are no longer called the Taliban, they are now simply the "opposing force." Electronic Arts announced it is renaming the opposing side in the game's multiplayer to "Opposing Force" in response to the media controversy that erupted last month when it was discovered players could pit Taliban forces against U.S. soldiers. Levin Wants To Wire 97% Of U.S. For $10B
Broadband coverage to 97% of the country in ten years for $10 billion? I'll believe that when I see it. Former FCC employee and recently-departed broadband plan adviser Blair Levin was one of the major reasons the FCC decided not to pursue open access competitive policies, despite the fact the FCC's own studies suggested that countries with such policies see lower prices, more competition, and better service. Levin, now at the Aspen Institute think tank, is now busy pushing a new proposal (pdf) to expand broadband coverage to 97% of the country in 10 years for $10 billion. Comments

Remember to put the number 33 in the "team" field and you'd be folding with the [H]orde in no time! Thanks to nitrobass24 for the heads up. So you want to start folding? Great! The problem most users face when just getting started is what clients to install. This can be confusing thanks to the variety of options available: CPU/unicore client, SMP client, GPU2 client, GPU3 client, tray clients, console clients, and VMs. Thankfully, there is a much easier option. FAH GPU Tracker V2 is an interface for running multiple clients and a stats tracking system. In my opinion, using the Tracker is the easiest way to start folding.

Microsoft CEO Bonus Curbed for Kin, Tablet Failures
Although things seem to be going great for Microsoft in terms of profits, Windows 7 and the company's gaming division, Steve Ballmer's bonus was only 50% of the amount he could have received. The unsuccessful launch of the Kin and the lack of an iPad alternative are to blame for the "smaller" $670,000 bonus. Microsoft Corp Chief Executive Steve Ballmer didn't get his maximum bonus for the last fiscal year, despite notching the company's highest ever sales, as he took a hit for missteps on phones and not moving fast enough to counter Apple Inc's (AAPL.O) iPad.
