Kinect promoter Microsoft has this week signed a deal to bus one Canesta Inc. - a company based in Sunnyvale (California) that has developed a single-chip 3D sensing platform claimed to make Natural User Interfaces (NUI) possible.

Chrome 8.0.552.23 loses some bugs, accelerated 2D canvas
The Chrome Dev Channel is currently serving a new version of Google's browser for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. The 8.0.552.23 release comes with multiple stability fixes, it resolves some sign-in issues, a problem with importing from Firefox, and it unfortunately has accelerated 2D canvas disabled.
