Courtesy of a nice mention on Bluetooth SIG's website we know now that Samsung's probably first Windows Phone 7 offering is going to be known as Cetus (model SGH-i917) and will be available in North America - likely in Q4.

TSMC reports double-digit revenue growth for Q2
Intel isn't the only one that had a great Q2 as TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) reported for the past quarter a pretty sweet revenue of NT$104.96 billion (about US$3.28 billion), up 13.9% sequentially and 41.4% on-year.

317.5 million phones shipped in Q2, says IDC
According the latest Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker compiled by IDC, phone shipments in Q2 topped 317.5 million units, up 14.5% on-year. The double-digit growth can be attributed to increased demand for smartphones and higher performance from companies outside the global top five.
