Gears of War 3 confirmed for April 2011, trailer released
After an unintentional leak last week, Epic Games' Cliff Bleszinski has confirmed that Gears of War 3 is coming. Bleszinski was set to make the announcement on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Friday, but his appearance was cancelled at the last minute. Nobody sent word back to Microsoft, and an ad mistakenly appeared on the Xbox 360 dashboard.

Opera Mini gets the green light for iPhone, iPod touch
In its second press release today, Opera announced that its mobile browser has been approved by Apple. Opera Mini reportedly has some 50 million users worldwide, and that number can only stand to grow if the browser is available to iPhone and iPod touch owners. The program should appear in the App Store as a free download within 24 hours, but as of writing, it wasn't listed.
