Just like Toshiba's NB305, HP's Mini 210 netbook is heading for a DDR3 update and will soon be made available in configurations based around Intel's yet unannounced, DDR3-supporting 1.66GHz Atom N455 processor.

MSI readies micro ATX motherboard based on AMD 880G
MSI has prepared the 880GMA-E45, a micro ATX motherboard which utilized the 880G/SB850 chip pair and throws in a little extras, for all of those who want mighty hardware in a compact form factor. The upcoming board has a black PCB, Military Class components (solid capacitors and Icy Chokes), support for AM3 processors, the OC Genie overclocking technology, a core unlocking function, four DDR3 memory slots, Radeon HD 4290 integrated graphics, and one PCI-Express x16 slot.

Toshiba prepares DDR3-equipped netbook
The expected arrival of the DDR3-supporting Atom N4x5 series processors will be followed by a new line of netbooks based around them and one of the first such machines have been exposed by Toshiba, the NB305-10F. Being an upgraded version of the Pine Trail-powered mini NB305, the upcoming model features a 10.1-inch 1024x600 WLED-backlit display, Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, a 250GB hard drive, and includes Windows 7 Starter OS.

Patriot announces a 2.5 GHz DDR3 kit
Catching up to G.Skill (at least in terms of paper launches), Patriot Memory has revealed its own DDR3 2500 MHz dual channel memory kit targeting enthusiasts and overclockers using an Intel P55-based system. Part of the Viper II Series Sector 5 Edition line, the three kits contain two 2GB modules equipped with extruded aircraft-grade aluminum heatspreaders.
