Six more features promoted from Gmail Labs
Ideas about how to improve Gmail are pretty much all over the Google kingdom and because of that the Gmail Labs were born back in June 2008. Since then quite a few features went from being experiments to something we can't live without, while others were discontinued.

This week, the circle of live within the Gmail Labs continued undisturbed with six features stepping up their game and becoming regular parts of Gmail, while five others were planned for retirement.

The things that graduated from the Labs are Search Autocomplete, Go To Label, Forgotten Attachment Detector, YouTube Previews, Custom Label Colors and Vacation Dates. These should make it easier to search, view those funny cat videos everyone is spamming you with, organize your inbox, and avoid some mistakes when sending emails.

As for the unlucky features that are being cut out, these are - Muzzle, Fixed Width Font, Email Addict, Location in Signature and Random Signature.

Skype (temporary?) pulls VOIP app for Windows Mobile
Without much fuss or notice Skype has removed from download both the Skype Lite and Skype applications for Windows Mobile devices. According to Skype's support pages, the WinMo apps were pulled because they didn't offer the best possible Skype experience, which is defined by enabling people to make free Skype-to-Skype and low cost calls as easily on the move as they do via a desktop PC.

Those who already have Skype Lite or Skype installed on their Windows Mobile phones can continue to use the apps, at least this year, or until a new version is made available. It's likely that Skype is working on new software for Windows Mobile (and Windows Phone 7 Series) so this move shouldn't worry yet.

The XFX Radeon HD 5830 has not been priced but it could be one of the cheapest Cypress-powered models you'll be able to find so keep an eye out for it.
