Zalman to roll out ZM-RHS90 FET heatsink for Radeon HD 4890/4870
Zalman is just about to make available a new cooling solution for Radeon HD 4870 and HD 4890 cards, the ZM-RHS90 heatsink. The aluminum-made sink weights 55 grams and is specifically made to cool off the VRM, MOSFET area of the cards already mentioned, although it's unclear if it will work on non-reference models.
Making use of push-pins for installation, the ZM-RHS90 should become available very soon at around (just over?) 10 Euro.

Sony to pump up Blu-Ray with movieIQ feature
Sony is planning to bring Blu-Ray and its potential back into the spotlight this Fall with the introduction of a new feature called movieIQ. Made using Gracenote technology, movieIQ will provide owners of BD-Live compatible players with a real-time film database which they can go through and find various info about what they are watching - the cast, crew, trivia, soundtrack, and more. The catch is that the feature requires an internet connection (but that's a requirement of BD-Live anyway), and for the movie Blu-Ray discs to feature it. To tackle the latter issue, Sony has already announced that it will offer movieIQ with 'all major catalog titles', and with new releases.
"It has always been our goal at Sony Pictures to offer fans the ability to truly connect with their favorite movies using BD-Live", said Lexine Wong, Senior Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. "We know many people interrupt their movie-watching experience to look up the filmography of an actor or to find out more about a song playing in the background. Now through movieIQ, movie lovers can dive into constantly-updated information about the movie they are watching without leaving their sofa, further enhancing the experience of watching movies in this always-connected age."
Alright, time to get your Blu-Ray on, if you haven't already.

Roadmap shows Lenovo prepping Calpella laptops for Q1 2010
Already delayed, Intel's 'next-gen' mobile platform, Calpella, may be coming a little later than currently expected as some leaked slides of Lenovo's ThinkPad roadmap shows that the company will have Calpella laptops next year, in early Q1.
Intel has earlier this year pushed Calpella's release from Q2 to Q3 and it was expected that laptops based on it would arrive in late Q3 or Q4. This may still be the case, just apparently not for Lenovo. The Beijing-base company is planning to introduce no less than 11 Calpella laptops in early Q1 (probably at CES 2010) - the 12-inch ThinkPad X210/X210c/X210t, the 14-inch SL420/SL420c and T410/T410s, and 15-inch SL520/SL520c and T510/T510-1. The upcoming portable machines will feature 45nm Clarksfield or 32nm Arrandale processors, DDR3 memory and a Ibex Peak-M motherboard.
