Thermaltake BigWater 760 Plus CPU Liquid Cooler Review @ NikKTech

Testing CPU Coolers may not really be a hard thing to do but as many of you know it does take time to remove the old one, clean old thermal paste remains, place new on the CPU and install the cooler you want to test. Because of that i always like to have as many CPU Coolers as possible for testing so i can avoid having to go through the same lengthy procedure every few days. Yesterday i uploaded a review about the best CPU Air Cooler currently, the Silver Arrow Extreme by Thermalright and as you can imagine it was one out of many units lined up for testing. Leetgion Hellion Gaming Mouse Review @ NikKTech

Being amongst the very first people on the planet to put a hardware component, peripheral or gadget to the test is something i always considered to be special and that's mainly the reason behind the many worldwide first reviews I’ve performed in the past. Of course this has nothing to do with me feeling special and such but rather with the fact that being amongst the first to actually see and use a finished product allows you to discover bugs which in turn can be fixed by the manufacturer without reaching the end user, or at least not many end users and that gives me plenty of satisfaction. Kingston HyperX 3k 240GB SATA III SSD Upgrade Kit Review @ NikKTech

Instead of individually testing solid state drives i mostly prefer to wait a while and conduct a thorough comparison between all the latest models in the market. Airlive N.Plug One Touch Wireless Repeater Review @ NikKTech

Although I’ve always preferred wired connections over wireless ones (mainly because of security issues) i can't deny that i have used Wi-Fi wireless points numerous times while on the go with my smartphone mostly. However regardless of how much practical wireless networks are they do have certain drawbacks and so aside the already mentioned security ones which can prove quite bad for people working with sensitive data signal range and quality are also two issues that can't really be ignored. Many manufacturers have tried to partially correct that issue by adding more antennas onto their wireless modem/routers and there have also been quite a few improvements in wireless standards during the past decade (from 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, to the latest 802.11n) but unfortunately signal range is still an important issue. RaidSonic ICY BOX IB-MP3011Plus Network Media Player Review @ NikKTech

Many people who enjoy watching movies but don't really know much about technology have recently turned towards Blu-Ray players not only because of their very affordable price tags but also due to extreme simplicity, just drop the disk into the tray/slot, press play and that's it. I also used to do that, starting almost 14 years ago when i bought my first Philips DVD player and then with the EP35 HD-DVD player by Toshiba which although quite impressive and aggressively priced it eventually lost to the Blu-Ray format by SONY (it's worth checking out that story if you are not familiar with it). However during the last 5 years or so with the introduction of standalone hardware media players it became quite obvious that the next generation/future format would not be based on optical drives but in standalone media file formats capable of reproducing FullHD content like the extremely popular matroska video format (.MKV extension). RaidSonic has been manufacturing such media players for quite some time and their latest Icy Box IB-MP3011PLUS is more than enough to remind us of that.

Logitech Harmony 1100 Advanced Universal Remote Review @ NikKTech

In my bedroom alone i have a grand total of 7 remote controls for quite a large range of devices so you can certainly understand how frustrating having to find the right one every time can be. Universal remote controls have existed for many years now but never could a single remote cover 100% of your needs so if you were really lucky and you didn't have many devices of the same type to control you would just need to keep the AC remote around. The very first universal remote i used was the rather impressive (even by today’s standards) Philips SBC RU880 i bought back in 2004 and which is still working just like the first day. However much like everything in this world the time has come for something improved to take its place and i just couldn't think of anything better for the job than the Harmony 1100 Advanced Universal Remote by Logitech.

EPSON Stylus SX535WD All-In-One Wi-Fi Printer Review @ NikKTech

Although my job has allowed me to test and review well over 700 products from both the general electronics industry and of course the computer hardware industry during these last 5 years i can't really say i am an expert in everything related with those two so there are quite a few product categories in the industry which unfortunately i haven't mastered since they haven't really passed through my crosshairs, at least not yet. One such category is printers, scanners, fax machines and of course all-in-one systems which can not only replace everything mentioned prior but will also require much less space on your desk and will probably cost less as well. The fact that most PC Cases that arrive here for review purposes are designed and manufactured by the top and most well-known manufacturers in the market usually results in a very nice balance between quality and features, not to mention design. Kingston HyperX Genesis 16GB 2133MHz Quad Channel Kit Review @ NikKTech

Many of you know that up until 5-6 months ago my favorite testing platform was the LGA1366 by Intel which was also the only platform with triple channel DDR3 support, something that played a huge part in my choice. Besides that's also why 3 out of my 4 test rigs featured Intel Core i7-920 (Bloomfield) CPUs each paired with 12GB of RAM (3x4GB). However all things come to an end eventually, especially when it comes to all things related with technology and so the launch of the latest Intel LGA2011 platform signified the upgrade of my primary test system. It did take a while until i finally managed to get the 2nd revision of the Core i7-3930k (Sandy Bridge-E) CPU to build the system but since that happened I’ve been putting all the latest Quad channel memory kits to hit the market through various tests to see just how good the new platform really is. Thermaltake Overseer RX-I Midi Tower Review @ NikKTech

Yesterday i uploaded a review surrounding the latest PC Case manufactured by NEXUS, one of the latest players in the market, called the Prominent R which may not have the most radical design in the market but it does carry a large number of features making it a very good overall solution in the midi tower segment of the market. SteelSeries Diablo III Mouse Review @ NikKTech

The mouse has really come a long way since the first optical and laser units made their appearance roughly almost a decade ago and so today the entire market is flooded with both wired and wireless units targeted towards not only casual users but also enthusiasts and gamers alike. Compared to everyday mice the gaming variants tend to sport higher DPI resolutions for more speed and accuracy, faster polling rates, lighting effects and of course lots of buttons which sometimes also happen to be a lot more durable than the ones on normal units. What we don't usually see however are gaming mice manufactured with specific games in mind and also targeted towards specific gamer groups loyal to those titles. Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 CPU Cooler Review @ NikKTech

One of the things i happen to enjoy is testing CPU Coolers and so it really comes as no surprise that while in my previous position i was able to build the largest LGA1366 CPU Cooler database online and so naturally now i will try to accomplish the exact same thing with the latest LGA2011 socket and my brand new Intel Core i7 3930k. This list will shoot off with one of the best CPU Air Coolers in the market, namely the NH-D14 SE2011 by Noctua, the recent revision of a unit which was also featured in my LGA1366 database. Of course unlike the initial version of this cooler the SE2011 version is compatible with socket 2011 CPUs and as you will see later on it does a terrific job keeping the temperature of the 3930k at relatively low temperature levels even at 4GHz under extreme load conditions.

Diesel DZ7164 LED Watch Review @ NikKTech

As you can certainly tell the page is not 100% complete and because of that i plan to change the entire layout/design many times in order to try and reach the best possible outcome. Now although many of you are aware of my love towards watches (long time loyal Tag Heuer fan/owner) only a handfull of people know that for the past 2 years i was looking to get an everyday sports watch (and thus not something expensive) which would also cover my thirst for everything technology related. My first idea was to go out and get one of the all-time classic G-Shock watches manufactured by Casio but having owned one like 15 years ago i really felt like trying something else. Well after quite a long search our friends over at Diesel seem to have exactly what i was looking for, an everyday, cost effective LED watch unlike most watches in the market.
