Google Wants to Patent 'Heart' Gesture for Google Glass
If you didn't think Google Glass wearers look strange enough just wearing the frames, add in some goofy hand gestures to complete the picture. Hard to tell if everyone is going to heart this new feature to Google Glass, but it looks like Google plans to try.
According to the filing, Google wants to patent the heart hand gesture so that a "wearable computing device, which could include a head-mounted display (HMD) and a video camera, may recognize known hand gestures and carry out particular actions in response."

Grand Theft Auto Online Updated
Rockstar pushed out its latest update for GTA Online on Friday. The update is for both the Xbox and the PS3, addressing numerous issues that have been plaguing GTA Online.
The patch addresses lingering issues with the multiplayer mode, including instances of player's vehicles or vehicle modifications vanishing due to cloud save failures.

BitTorrent Site isoHunt Shutting Down Due to Settlement
Another one bites the dust. isoHunt, the BitTorrent search engine, will be shutting down by October 23rd as part of a settlement with the MPAA. The settlement is the result of a 2006 lawsuit filed over pirated movie and TV content.
isoHunt is considered the fourth largest BioTorrent site on the Internet with 44.2 million peers and 13.7 million active torrents. Alexa.com ranks isoHunt as the 426th most visited site on the Internet worldwide.

MS Makes Gold Program Xbox Live Games Permanent
Microsoft received such a positive response from its Xbox Live Gold Program members, that the company announced on Friday the free monthly games perk will become permanent.
Microsoft announced Games with Gold on June 10, planning to run the program until Dec. 31. Through the program, Xbox Live Gold members receive a free game on the first and 16th day of each month.
