Although marketed as a "notebook bundle kit," this SSD will perform just the same in either a desktop or notebook environment. Overall, the V300 exceeded its advertised compressible sequential read and write rating of 450MB/s.

Thermaltake and BMW Designworks made the Level 10 mouse a work of art. Looks aside, the aluminum base is very strong, even with the floating design, and the feel of the mouse is incredible. The overall design might cause problems for some people, but for others the mouse will be perfect. I personally find the design and comfort of the mouse suits me perfectly.

The Crucial Ballistix Sport VLP kit being reviewed today contains 2x8GB memory modules rated at 9-9-9-24 timings. Voltage requirements are lower than normal, and just like the Tactical series from Crucial, they are rated at 1.35v. This kit has an even lower profile than the Ballistix Tactical series we reviewed last month, which should appeal to those with cramped cases.

The Seagate 750GB Momentus XT is a fairly typical 7200RPM hard drive that has been optimized with 8GB of flash memory cache. After Seagate's Adaptive Memory technology learns what data to move into the cache, those tasks execute much faster than on a typical hard drive. While still not as fast as a SSD, the drive was noticeably faster than a standard hard drive.

The Crucial Ballistix Tactical LP 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 Memory Kit performs similarly to the Crucial Ballistix Elite 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 kit we tested previously. Overclocking attempts netted up to 15% performance gains in some of our benchmarks. Overall we found the Tactical LP kit was capable of running stable at 1866MHz with slightly relaxed timings (9-9-9-24) at 1.5v.

The APM-J011-WS sent over by Geeks.com works very well. Initially I wasn't sure what I should expect from this lower priced, generically packaged unit. Because the APM-J011-WS is so much like a Foscam camera, I wound up being very pleased. It was extremely easy to setup, the feature-packed interface is nearly identical, and every day use is quite simple.

Cooler Master just released a new keyboard to their CM Storm lineup called Quick Fire TK, which should be a nice upgrade from the CM Storm Quick Fire keyboard. The Quick Fire TK keyboard back-lighting is a major feature improvement; the red back-light looks great and the three different modes you can choose from is a very unique feature.

Then late last week I discovered a post on TheGreenButton that made my day... A "business-focused tech-evangelist" name Gareth Barr was working on an Amazon Prime Instant Video add-in of his own!

The 128GB Kingston SDXC card has been evaluated to write at speeds above 14MB/s and read at speeds approaching 40MB/s. This is pretty good performance, but its by no means the fastest card. Serious photographers may be interested in seeing that write speed higher to ensure that their technnology doesn't keep them from getting the shots they want!

With Cooler Master's reputation of producing high quality cases, the Scout 2 does not fail to impress. It is a nice update to the original Scout, which is 2 years old and starting to show its age. Cooler Master CM Storm Trigger Gaming Keyboard

In use, I am very impressed with the Cooler Master CM Storm Trigger gaming keyboard. The feel of the unit as a whole is very solid, and I am sure this could be a reliable keyboard for years longer than most other units I have used. Everything about the keys is nice too... from the feel and responsiveness, to the layout, and especially the back-lighting.
