Unreal Engine 3 has definitely shown up in some unexpected places—most notably Apple's iOS devices, in the form of Infinity Blade (and the upcoming Infinity Blade 2). This latest announcement takes the cake for unexpectedness, though. Turns out that Epic has gotten Unreal Engine 3 running in Flash.

Radeon users get Rage graphics driver—for real this time
Yeah, so, turns out the Rage driver AMD released yesterday wasn't all it was cracked up to be. The driver somehow made it online with "very old" OpenGL files that caused all sorts of nastiness in id's new shooter. Good news, though: a proper Catalyst beta driver for Rage is now available. AMD posted it earlier this afternoon.

Tim Cook unveils the iPhone 4S—no iPhone 5 in sight
So much for all of those mockups and silicon case designs hinting at a teardrop-shaped iPhone 5 with a four-inch screen. Apple CEO Tim Cook indeed unveiled a new phone during his keynote at the Apple campus today, but the device was merely a souped-up version of the fourth-generation model—the iPhone 4S.

Last week, the desktop variants of Intel's new Cedarview Atom processor popped up online. Now, we have details on versions of those CPUs destined for netbooks. id Software's hotly anticipated shooter Rage is out today. If you pre-loaded it on Steam, you might have snuck in a little bit of playtime late last night.
