Taiwanese site itOC has revealed pictures of AMD's Radeon HD 6990, displayed at a recent presentation. The picture is low resolution and doesn't give away much detail. However, there's no doubt that HD 6990 is one beastly card. The Radeon HD 6990 is still scheduled for "Q1 2011", though rumours suggest a February release following the Chinese New Year.

vr-zone.com - The "Radeon HD 6700 Series" has been wildly rumoured for several months now. Initially expected to be what is now Barts / HD 6800 series, the HD 6700 moniker was next attached to HD 5700 rebrands by part of the rumour mill. The other part called Caicos HD 6700. However, at long last, AMD has quietly announced the HD 6700 series, for OEMs. There's nothing exciting about the "new" cards, HD 6770 and HD 6750, as they are quite simply rebrands for the HD 5770 and HD 5750 respectively, with one change - HDMI 1.4a support.
