MSI also reveals two GeForce GTX 580 Twin Frozr II graphics cards
Today, beside the two GTX 570s detailed earlier, MSI introduced two GeForce GTX 580 cards that both utilize the Twin Frozr II cooler, the N580GTX Twin Frozr II and N580GTX Twin Frozr II/OC. Both models are cooler and quieter than reference models and are powered by the GF110 40nm GPU.

HIS coming up with its own 1GB Radeon HD 6950 to take on GTX 560
Following Sapphire, HIS (Hightech Information System) is the second AMD board partner confirmed to be releasing a Radeon HD 6950 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory. The card hasn't been officially announced but it's likely to debut later this month, close to the launch day of Nvidia's GeForce GTX 560.

Taiwanese heavyweight MSI has just revealed two new GeForce GTX 570 models which are up to 20 degrees (Celsius) cooler and up to 8.4dB quieter than reference cards thanks to the use of the Twin Frozr II cooling solution boasting two 80mm PWM fans and five heatpipes and a nickel-plated copper base.

RIM BlackBerry PlayBook shipments said to top 1 million units in Q1
According to 'industry sources', Taiwanese ODM Quanta Computer has kicked off production of BlackBerry PlayBook tablets, and may ship up to 1 million units before the end of this quarter. RIM (Research In Motion) is planning to release the device in the US in the next couple of months.

x86 promoter Intel Corp. has ended 2010 with a real bang as its Q4 results reached record highs - $11.5 billion revenue (up 3% sequentially and 8% on-year), $3.4 billion net income (up 15% over Q3 2010 and 48% over Q4 2009), and earnings per share of 59 cents (up 13%/48%).

MSI said to be prepping overclocked, GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II
Later this month, on January 25th to be exact, Nvidia will launch the GF114-powered GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Ti for Titanium we guess, same as some GeForce 3/4 models), and MSI is supposed to welcome the card with open arms, releasing several SKUs based on it, including the N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/OC.
