Antec Releases Sonata IV Chassis
Antec has released the latest addition to its Sonata chassis line, the Sonata IV. The Sonata IV features one USB 3.0 port on the front panel for fast data transfers, a redesigned bezel for maximum airflow and eight drive bays (three external 5.25", four internal 3.5" and one internal 2.5"). Following the previous Sonata series models, noise output is minimised by silicone grommets positioned on the hard drive rails along with an 120mm three-speed Antec TriCool exhaust fan. A washable air filter is also included for simple chassis maintenance. The Sonata IV is the first Sonata variant to come with an 80 PLUS certified 620W PSU, which features a low-noise 120mm fan giving users a quiet computing experience. The new chassis is compatible with Mini-ITX, microATX and standard ATX motherboards, and will also be backed by Antec's Quality 3-Year (AQ3) limited warranty. The Antec Sonata IV chassis is available immediately for around US$199.95.
