NORAD had Record-Breaking Success with Tracks Santa Program in 2010
Every Christmas, little kids are always eagerly awaiting the arrival of Santa to bring them all the toys they want for being a good boy or girl. Some kids even stay up as long as possible, hoping to catch a glimpse of Santa as he delivers toys. Luckily for them, there is a much easier way to track Santa than staying up all night, and that is giving a call or sending an email to NORAD who has had an annual Santa tracking program ever since 1955. That year there was a misprinted ad in a local paper which said NORAD will be tracking Santa, and ever since, it has done that honor. NORAD's Tracks Santa (NTS) program has volunteers and NORAD staff replying to emails and even answering phone calls from children all across the country awaiting Santa's arrival at their house. This past Christmas, NORAD has record-breaking success with the program as more than 1,200 volunteers answered 80,456 phone calls and responded to 7,023 emails. The phone calls were a nine percent increase from 2009 and the emails were double the amount. The NTS website had 15,476,016 unique visitors from 227 countries and territories across the world, a sixteen percent increase from 2009, while the Facebook page hit 715,000. The Twitter page had more than 53,000 people following Santa's progress which is nearly double the amount from the previous year. The NTS website even used Google Maps to present an updated picture of where Santa was and had fun facts about the big guy and his reindeer. Hopefully 2011 can be just as big a success as 2010 for NORAD's Tracks Santa program.

ECS Reveals H67H2-M Motherboard
Details are now available on a second motherboard from ECS that supports the new Sandy Bridge processors from Intel. Unlike the P67H2-A, the Black Deluxe H67H2-M is based on the H67 express chipset. This board features Intel HD Graphics technology, and therefore won't require a standalone graphics card. The board also has full support for HDCP and Blu-Ray movies, which would make it a good fit in an HTPC. However, it probably won't be quite as power efficient as some of the systems based on the Intel Atom and Nvidia ION. With 4most Display Design, the board features DVI, HDMI, Display Port, and VGA output options. In addition to these interesting features, the board also features USB 3.0, 8 channel HD Audio, two gigabit Ethernet ports, and SATA 6G.
