Sapphire is currently preparing the release of a customized Radeon HD 6970, a new Cayman-powered card that has a blue PCB (as opposed to reference models which have a black PCB) and a new, dual-slot cooler with metal inserts and what looks like a lock that can be rotated with a key.

Galaxy makes two overclocked GeForce GTX 560 cards
Galaxy Microsystems, the owner of KFA2 brand, is ready for the GeForce GTX 560 Ti launch with not one but two custom-cooled and factory-overclocked cards based on Nvidia's GF114 GPU, the GTX 560 Ti GC Version and the GTX 560 Ti White Edition. The GC model utilizes a dual-slot cooler with two 90mm fans and three copper heatpipes, has GPU and shader clocks of 835 MHz (822 MHz stock) and 1670 MHz, respectively, and 1GB of GDDR5 memory at 4000 MHz.

New Twitter worm tricks users via goo.gl URL shortener
Twitter has been hit by a new worm this week, one that uses the goo.gl URL shortener to trick users into downloading malicious code. The worm uses the shortened link to take unsuspecting users to a site which offers the download for Security Shield , and as with most malware, the anti-virus protection is really malicious code.

AMD reports $375 million net income
AMD has yesterday posted its Q4 results and they show a slight sequential increase in revenue: $1.65 billion as opposed to $1.62 billion in Q3, an operating income of $413 million, and a quite decent net income of $375 million or $0.50 per share ($118 million/$0.17 EPS loss in Q3).

Metal Gear Solid trilogy heading to PS3 in HD
