Galaxy GeForce GTX 460 1GB WHDI Edition
Remember the WHDI GTX 460 we showed you guys back in October? Well, our friends at PC Perspective have put the Galaxy GeForce GTX 460 1GB WHDI Edition to the test and it walked away with an editor's choice award. Here's a quote from the review: The Galaxy GeForce GTX 460 WHDI graphics card is a truly unique offering that brings uncompressed wireless video your current configuration with an impressive set of features. Using this Galaxy card and the included receiver you can wirelessly connect your PC to an HDTV or even just a standard monitor in another room of your house and still get the same image quality (and sound quality) you would get with the two being directly connected via HDMI or DVI. While 3D gaming and 3D Blu-ray aren't supported yet, the quality of the WHDI technology impressed me while playing games at 1920x1080 and watching Blu-ray at the full 1080p resolution.

No Copied Java Code in Android
Woo hoo! Nerd fight! Big bad bully Google stands accused of copying source code from poor defensele....bah, screw the details...NERD FIGHT!!!! Sometimes the sheer wrongness of what is posted on the web leaves us speechless. Especially when it's picked up and repeated as gospel by otherwise reputable sites like Engadget. "Google copied Oracle's Java code, pasted in a new license, and shipped it," they reported this morning. Sorry, but that just isn't true. Comments

How Apple Is Screwing Your iPhone
I told you Apple is always on the hunt for new ways to screw your iPhone. One good thing that came from this article, I now know what a pentalobe is. That's what repair company iFixit claims, at least. The company recently discovered that Apple has quietly switched the screws in the latest shipments of the iPhone 4 from a basic Phillips head to a tamper-resistant screw that you can't remove with any screwdriver you'd buy at a hardware store. The screw in question is called a "Pentalobe" (see right), a five-point head with a round shape resembling a daisy. Comments

Corsair H50 Water Cooling System
Pro-Clockers has posted a review of Corsair's H50 water cooling system today. You can see our evaluation of the Corsair H70 (here) to give you an idea how it compared to the H50. The Corsair H50 is ideal for those that want to get into water-cooling for the first time, and Corsair made the transition from air to water as painless as can be for this sort of individual. For starters everything is pre-assembly/pre-filled, meaning you do not have to spend hours and days piecing together all the necessary parts to build a custom water-cooling kit. Comments

You have until January 26th to submit a question to the President of the United States that could be answered live during a streaming YouTube event. Knowing most of you, your questions have little success of being selected...but it is always fun to try. US President Barack Obama will answer questions from YouTube users in a live event on the video-sharing site next week, the White House said. Obama will be live-streaming on YouTube at 2:30 pm (1930 GMT) on Thursday, two days after he delivers his annual agenda-setting State of the Union speech to a joint session of the US Congress.

Missing Journalist Reappears
Remember that C|Net journalist that went missing for months in Bulgaria? Well, according to his Twitter feed he's back. Where has he been? If the Google translation of this page is correct, he's been in the loony bin. Catching up in progress, lots of positive things have happened on multiple fronts, inbox looks pretty messy. Did you miss me, folks? I'm telling you right now, if you go missing for months while on assignment and end up in the nut house in a foreign country because people were "spying" on you, the story you bring back better be so good that it puts the Bourne books to shame.
