Lenovo IdeaPad U260 12.5-inch ultra-thin laptop launching next week
The recently-leaked Lenovo IdeaPad U260 ultra-thin has been deemed ready to become available this Monday, November 15. This new laptop has a thickness of just 0.71 inches, a magnesium-aluminum alloy cover, a leather-patterned palm rest, a glass touchpad (optional), and runs Windows 7 Home Premium.

Apple delivers iTunes update, still holding onto iOS 4.2
iOS 4.2 may have suffered a delay, allegedly due to a WiFi issue, but the latest iTunes update, version 10.1, is finished, fine and available, bringing, what else if not compatibility with devices running iOS 4.2.

Claiming that is got into the festive spirit of the holidays, Intel today officially announced the availability of a 120GB X250M G2 solid state drive which is supposed to offer "the best dollar-per-GB value" in the X25-M family.

Micro Center offering new self-branded SandForce-powered solid state drives
US computer retailer Micro Center has just announced the release of its second generation self-branded solid state drive based on SandForce's SF-1200 controller. The drive in question have a 2.5-inch form factor, a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, and deliver transfer speeds of up to 250 MB/s.

MSI to bundle 3DMark 11 with its GeForce GTX 580
No, there's still no solid release date for 3DMark 11 but at least MSI is promising that, when it does launch, Futuremark's benchmark will be bundled with its GeForce GTX 580 cards. This limited edition bundle will come in a collector's edition packaging inspired by the Deep Sea scene.

IOGEAR introduces two new wireless keyboard
IOGEAR has just announced a couple of new 2.4 GHz wireless keyboards designed to be used with HTPCs, HDTVs, and media servers. Both models include the usual keys but also have an optical trackball (with up to 1200 DPI) and a scroll wheel that provide mouse functionality.

Wortmann rolls out two more Full HD monitors
Wortmann AG has now expanded its Terra Greenline Plus line of LED-backlit monitors with two new models, the 21.5-inch 2240W and 23.6-inch 2440W. Both LCDs have a slim profile, a glossy piano black finish, are Full HD (1920 x 1080 native resolution) and are TCO 5.1 and Energy Star 5.0 certified.
