Apple iPad to hit the US this April 3
It seems that in recent years, anything that Apple comes up with seems to generate a whole lot of publicity. Fans of the iPad will be pleased to know that the magical and revolutionary device is tipped to hit the US market on April 3rd, although this is limited to just its Wi-Fi models while others who want the high end Wi-Fi + 3G models will have to wait until the end of April. As for people living in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK, they will be able to get their hands on the iPad in late April as well.

iRiver announced e-dictionary with Wi-Fi and 720p video playback
iRiver has announced a new e-dictionary, the D1000, which integrates features found in many MIDs or media players. Aside from the dictionary functionality, the device offers Wi-Fi connectivity, web browsing, and 720p video playback. Supported files include documents, pictures and audio, along with video formats such as MKV and T-DMB.

HD 5000 series 2D performance to be fixed in Catalyst 10.4
A source from AMD gave us the info that bad 2D performance on HD 5000 series is actuallz driver based problem, which should be fixed in the upcoming April edition of ATI Catalyst 10.4 driver package.

NVidia benchmarks GeForce GTX 480 against HD 5870
NVidia's next-generation GPU architecture, codenamed Fermi, made a few brief appearances at this week's CeBIT, and though we'll have to wait until March 26 for an official unveiling, the graphics giant has teased its upcoming high-end solution, the GeForce GTX 480, in a surprise YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpdPSZB8A8E) .
