CeBIT 2010: LC Power - Multimedia in the Living Room
As usual, the exhibition space of LC Power was full of interesting new things. In addition to standard power supplies, cases, peripherals and media players, LC Power has again entered the realm of audio devices. A few years ago they offered 5.1 models designed for home theaters, and now we see the result of a trip to the 2.1 world. It is a stylish system that will fit in nicely in the living room with its appearance, and according to their representatives, performance and sound quality will definitely be on par with competitors in the class, and the price should be below 50 euros.

CeBIT 2010: Mio - GPS Device or a Car Computer
MiTAC at CeBIT introduced the Mio Moov V780 GPS device. Although repeatedly emphasized that its main role is GPS navigation, it is difficult to get rid of the impression that this is much more than that. After all, how to call a device that has a 7-inch diagonal screen, can play HD 720p movies, has an HDMI port, digital TV tuner, support for WiFi and integrated Internet Explorer?

CeBIT 2010: Sapphire - Beauty, Beast and Netbook
Sapphire had on their booth very nice presentation of Eyefinity technology, with Dirt 2 playing on 6 displays all the time. Beside a girl which looked very happy while playing the game on this setup, proof that AMD have a good technology at hand is that all others were looking at the game, not at the girl. Beside very nice girls at the booth, Sapphire also demonstrate to us a real beast, factory overclocked 5970 with 4GB on board memory, and with two 8pin connectors. For more price oriented users they also showed to us a very nice Vapor X 5770, naturally equipped with Vapor Chamber cooling.

CeBIT 2010: XFX - No AvP for German buyers of 5830 cards
XFX had a very nice promotional package for show as they will bundle new Alien VS Predator game with their 5830 cards and higher. The great thing is that they will not charge extra for this bundle, but bad news for German players that they will not have the same bundle. As this game was labeled as too violent from German government, the bundle will be with new Assassin Creed title. If they are lucky, maybe they will have AVP T-shirt.

CeBIT 2010: PowerColor - Watercooled HD 5970 and mATX Boards
We have already had the opportunity to play with PCS+ series Power Color Radeons, and we have only words of praise for the top models of their offer. To be honest, we did not expect too many new things, but you will notice that we are quite wrong. Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity6 Edition and HD 5770 Eyefinity5 are two cards that attracted most of our attention. Stronger model has six, while the other model is equipped with five ports, which can be concluded by their names. To overcome problems with the display ports (monitors on the market that actually have DisplayPorts can be count on the fingers of one hand), PowerColor bundled the appropriate DP-DVI and DP-HDMI adapters with the cards. This enables the use Eyefinity technologies with much greater choice of accessible screens.

CeBIT 2010: Biostar - Fresh Chipsets, Fresh Boards
The problem which occurs with partners who produce motherboards and graphics cards is that they are directly related to the largest companies (AMD, Intel, NVIDIA). This means that their product portfolio and innovations directly depend on these suppliers. Therefore it's not surprising that booths such as Gigabyte, Asus and MSI we couldn't see some special novelties, at least when the basic components are in matter. At Biostar's exhibition space, which we visited today, we saw the current offer in form of models from H55 series using Intel's chipset, and also representatives of the new AMD 890GX, FX and 880G chipsets. The top model of AMD's offer, TA890FXE, is expected in April, according to unofficial sources, and prices should be around 100 euros, which is very acceptable, since it is a very rich and quality model.

Athlon II X4 635: Quad-Cores Are In
Almost six months have passed since we first presented Athlon II quad-core CPUs on our site. In parallel with the 630 model, the cheapest 620 model was presented as well, threatening the competition severely with its price of under 100€ and bringing quad-core Phenom II derivatives closer to the mainstream segment. The popularity of these processors became evident quick after they were presented, and now we have the chance to review the latest member of the Athlon II X4 family, namely 635.
