PSP Go Hacked


Mere days after the PSP Go hit retail stores to mixed reactions on 1 Oct, hacker Freeplay has managed to exploit some existing security vulnerabilities on a certain PSP gameand ran an unsigned code on it. The hack reportedly took advantage of modified save data files and restricted to user mode only meaning changing the existing files on flash is impossible (no custom firmware flashing). For now, Freeplay has no plans to share the hack till he gets more help but at least we have concrete proof that the Go isn't homebrew-proof after all...definitely great news for PSP homebrew developers!
