Zuckerberg Finds It Funny Some Still Don't Trust Internet.org
Zuckerburg actually finds it "funny" that people are questioning his motives in regards to his Free Basics program. Maybe it might be the fact that he's pushing a service in countries that have banned it?

"It's been a little funny that people sometimes don't take you on face value [regarding providing free internet altruistically]," Zuckerberg said. Ultimately, he just wants to get people online who wouldn't have any other way to get connected. But when pressed, he added, "A lot of people think that companies don't think about anything other than making money... I didn't start Facebook to be a company initially ... I wanted to connect people in my college. Going forward, I realized building a company was the best way to get a lot of people to build towards a certain goal."

Big-City Transportation Systems Too Complex For Our Brains?
A bunch of physicists and mathematicians recently teamed up to study our ability to comprehend big-city transportation systems. The results, as you might imagine, are not very encouraging.

After analysing the world's 15 largest metropolitan transport networks, the researchers estimated that the information limit for planning a trip is around 8 bits. Using journeys with exactly two connections as their basis (that is, visiting four stations in total), the researchers found that navigating transport networks in major cities – including London – can come perilously close to exceeding humans' cognitive powers.

Google Fiber Coming To Huntsville In Public-Private Partnership
The mayor of Huntsville, Alabama has announced a partnership with Google that will bring its gigabit-speed, fiber optic internet service to selected areas of town starting in mid-2017. Google Fiber is expected to be available citywide in four years.

Huntsville, home to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, announced in two years ago that it would be bringing fiberoptic service to the city, before ultimately deciding to build the network itself and lease it out to third parties. "We are building the network for our own purposes," Huntsville Utilities President and CEO Jay Stowe tells AL.com. "It's going to have excess fiber that's available for lease, and Google will be the first company to lease that fiber."

The Man Who Made 'The Worst Video Game In History'
After reading this story, I actually feel kinda bad for this guy. How he went from making some of Atari's best selling games to becoming a psychotherapist just makes the story all the more interesting.

"It was the hardest I've ever worked on anything in my life," says Warshaw, who was the game's sole programmer. "I started working at the office but after a while I realised there was a problem; I still have to go home to sleep and eat occasionally. "So we had another development system installed in my house so that I would never be more than two minutes away from working on the code except when I was driving.

Beware Of Hacked Linux Mint ISOs
The Linux Mint Blog is warning anyone that downloaded a copy of the 17.3 Cinnamon edition over the weekend could be compromised by hackers. Clem Lefebvre, the creator of Linux Mint, had this to say:

I'm sorry I have to come with bad news. We were exposed to an intrusion today. It was brief and it shouldn't impact many people, but if it impacts you, it's very important you read the information below.

What happened?

Hackers made a modified Linux Mint ISO, with a backdoor in it, and managed to hack our website to point to it.
