Noctua NH-L9x65 Low Profile CPU Cooler
If you are shopping for a low profile CPU cooler, head on over to Neoseeker and check out their review of the Noctua NH-L9x65.

Noctua's NH-L9x65 is the "taller" low profile CPU cooler designed for improved thermal performance compared to its predecessor, the NH-L9 series. Measuring 65mm in height, it's still compact enough to work in smaller form factor setups like HTPCs which typically have low clearance for CPU coolers. The NH-L9x65 promises "100 percent" compatibility with RAM and PCIe cards in Intel-based ITX motherboards.

Vulnerability That Renders Android Devices Silent Discovered
Android sure is having a crappy week when it comes to security.

We have discovered a vulnerability in Android that can render a phone apparently dead – silent, unable to make calls, with a lifeless screen. This vulnerability is present from Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) up to the current version, Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Combined, these versions account for more than half of Android devices in use today. No patch has been issued in the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) code by the Android Engineering Team to fix this vulnerability since we reported it in late May.

Windows 10 Downloads Bend, But Don't Break, The Internet
Everyone that expected Windows 10 to break the internet today can calm down, everything is going just fine.

Some people feared that Windows 10 download traffic could break the Internet with traffic peaks of up to 40 Terabits per second (TBps). That doesn't seem to be happening. While Microsoft declined to say exactly how they're handling the demand, we do know some things about how Microsoft is delivering Windows 10's bits to your computer.

College President Moonlights As Uber Driver
Wait a second. I thought students were supposed to be Uber drivers, not the president of the university.

My biggest one-day take thus far has been $29. Even with my limited schedule, I thought I'd do a bit better than that. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't leave my day job. But if I hadn't started this little experiment, my path would probably never have crossed the lives of any of these people whose life stories continuously surprise me. After three weeks, my earnings are approaching $100, but I sure feel richer for the experience.

GeForce GTX 980 Ti Cards Compared
The Tech Report has rounded up a handful of GeForce GTX 980 Ti video cards and put them to the test. This comparison review features cards from the Asus, MSI, Gigabyte and more.

The GeForce GTX 980 Ti is arguably the best video card you can buy right now, by most standards. AMD's Radeon R9 Fury X has arrived and shown itself to be competitive but not quite dominant. In most games, the 980 Ti is faster. The custom GTX 980 Ti cards we've assembled all cost about 10 to 20 bucks more than the reference version, and they all aim to improve upon the vanilla card in multiple ways.

Windows 10 Shares Your Wi-Fi With Contacts
Windows 10 shares your Wi-Fi with your contacts? What could possibly go wrong?

For starters, despite years of advice to the contrary, many people tend to re-use the same password for everything. Also, lots of people write down their passwords. And, as The Reg notes, if you personally share your Wi-Fi password with a friend — by telling it to them or perhaps accidentally leaving it on a sticky note on your fridge — and your friend enters the password into his phone, the friends of your friend now have access to the network.

Microsoft Working On Streaming PC Games To Xbox One
I kinda like the idea of streaming PC games to the Xbox One but wouldn't it be easier to just make the Xbox One play PC games natively?

"Challenge is good." The real challenge of getting PC to Xbox game streaming working is encoding games and having the right amount of bandwidth to stream them to the Xbox One. Streaming from Xbox One to Windows 10 PCs is a lot more predictable "because we know exactly what you have," says Spencer. "It's actually a little more challenging doing the encoding on the PC side to the Xbox, but challenge is good."

Russians Hackers Using Twitter And Photos To Breach Computers
Good thing the State Department and the White House don't have computers with internet access that employees can use for Twitter.
