Razer Will Pay What Ouya Owes To Indie Devs
Apparently there is going to be a happy ending to this story.

Tan said that while he was aware of various marketing initiatives, including the Free the Games Fund, he didn't realize there was an outstanding debt. "We only acquired the team, the platform and the assets of Ouya," he said. "We didn't look at the debts because that's not how the deal was structured for us."

Enermax Thormax Giant E-ATX Case
If a full-tower case just isn't big enough for you, the crew at eTeknix have a review of the Enermax Thormax Giant E-ATX that will certainly be of interest.

Enermax have created some truly stunning products over the years, from stunning CPU coolers, loads of amazing chassis', great power supplies and much more! So I'm very happy to see one of their flagship chassis in the office today, the Thormax Giant, the E-ATX edition of their ever-popular Thormax. Of course, as the 'Giant' part of the name would suggest, this chassis isn't small, and it's not especially cheap either, clocking in at around £120 here in the UK.

Reeven Four Eyes Touch Fan Controller
If you need a new fan controller you might want to give this review of the Reeven Four Eyes Touch at Modders Inc. a quick look.

With the optical drive phased out in most modern PCs, the 5.25" external drive bay is feeling a bit of an "empty nest" syndrome. This space however, can be put to good use by adopting a fan controller that serves to provide thermal management much better than any built-in chassis fan controller could.

Tegra X1 Delivers Stunning Performance On Ubuntu Linux
The crew at Phoronix has put NVIDIA's Tegra X1 to the test running Ubuntu Linux. I don't want to spoil the review but they used words like "exciting" and "stunning" when talking about performance.

NVIDIA's Tegra X1 64-bit ARM SoC running (non-Android) Linux is a beast! I was given access to a SHIELD Android TV that was configured to run Ubuntu Linux, which has led for some exciting benchmarks. In some workloads, the Tegra X1 comes up just shy of an Intel Core i3 "Broadwell" system. The Tegra X1 has me very excited about the future of ARMv8 hardware on Linux and NVIDIA's continued Tegra advancements.

White House Responds To 'Pardon Edward Snowden' Petition
It looks like the White House has shot down that petition asking for a full pardon for Edward Snowden.

If he felt his actions were consistent with civil disobedience, then he should do what those who have taken issue with their own government do: Challenge it, speak out, engage in a constructive act of protest, and -- importantly -- accept the consequences of his actions. He should come home to the United States, and be judged by a jury of his peers -- not hide behind the cover of an authoritarian regime. Right now, he's running away from the consequences of his actions.

OUYA Reportedly Backing Out Of Promised $1M Fund
Now that OUYA has been bought by Razer, indie developers are claiming that the company is refusing to pay out money that is owed to them, citing a clause in the contract on restructuring.

"Claiming OUYA no longer exists as a company to get out of funding commitments, while continuing to use the name in the announcements today as if they still are a company that exists, just stinks," one developer told Polygon. "I think Razer will have trouble ahead if this is the level of respect they continue to show indie devs."

The Hamburg data protection authority in Germany has ruled that Facebook can no longer block people from using fake names, nor could it ask them for ID either.

Facebook may not prevent its users from using fake names, a German privacy watchdog said on Tuesday, in the latest privacy setback for the U.S. company in Europe. The Hamburg data protection authority, which is responsible for policing Facebook in Germany, said the social network firm could not unilaterally change users' chosen usernames to their real names, nor could it ask them for official ID.
