Valve unveils the final design of its upcoming Steam Controller

New Wi-Fi chip claims 85% power reduction for IoT
Computex 2015 - Rockchip has just unveiled its new "world's lowest power Wi-Fi technology," boasting an 85% power decrease for Internet of Things (IoT) devices when compared to predecessors and claiming it to provide similar power figures to Bluetooth 4.0 LTE.

Foreign breach of US data exposes 4 million employees
Authorities believe that a breach in US government data was thanks to a "foreign entity" and the Federal Bureau of Investigation has launched a full inquiry into who exactly stole the data on approximately four million workers.
Despite the implementation of EINSTEIN, private information on four million employees was stolen directly from the human resource systems, affecting OPM IT systems as a whole.
The OPM has been attacked before, alongside select State Department computers, the US Postal service and the White House itself.

The world's first quantum dot desktop monitor was launched today in China thanks to a partnership between MMD (Philips Monitors) and QD Vision. The Philips 27" Full HD monitor (276E6ADS) achieves 99% Adobe RGB color, making it ideal for entertainment and gaming, as well as professional photography and design. QD Vision is demonstrating the new quantum dot monitor at booth 1025 at SID Display Week.

The Whole is Better than the Sum of its Parts
A single-chip solution optimized for use on any platform with an integrated speaker, Conexant's CX8200 uses a proprietary "SoftAware" link to interconnect amplifier hardware sensors with software algorithms. The dataflow between hardware sensors and software enables dynamic updates to the algorithms performing speaker control and Acoustic Echo Cancellation functions, which radically improves overall system performance.
The CX8200 features a ProCoustic capless stereo headphone output that includes offset calibration to eliminate pops and clicks. Integrated headset support includes CTIA/OMTP auto-detect and switch functionality. Inline command sensing and multi-button headset detection enable control of third-party applications, system wake, and satisfies Google requirements for Chromebook.
