Twitter Targets Consumers with Buying Feature
Twitter has announced that it is testing a new buying feature through pages that can be built by the company itself, as well as various brands and celebrities. The new feature, which targets consumers utilizing the social networking platform, allows related images and tweets to be displayed on a product page that happens to feature a "Buy on Twitter" button. According to Twitter, the company currently has more than 40 partner curators and the pages themselves will be promoted through the feeds of Twitter users.
The ability to purchase items on Twitter comes after other social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram have introduced technology that allows consumers to directly purchase items from their feeds.

Developers are Actively Leaving SourceForge After DevShare Outcry
SourceForge recently found itself in hot water after users publically bashed the Open Source and project hosting website for pushing DevShare, an opt-in feature that introduces junkware alongside legitimate software within SourceForgeâs own installer. SourceForge was bundling Open Source software without consent from various developers, meaning that programs like GIMP were included within the SourceForge installer despite the well wishes of GIMP developers. Although the push for DevShare was somewhat short-lived, as SourceForge has stated that it has stopped including third-party offers without consent from developers, various Open Source projects are now leaving SourceForge as a direct result of the shady actions taken by the website. Some of the main programs that are moving away from SourceForge include Wine and Notepad++, with the developer of Notepad++ publically stating that "SourceForge was a good place; unfortunately, sometimes good places donât last."

CD Projekt Switches Focus to Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 was first revealed by CD Projekt in May 2012, and since then the studio has remained rather quiet about the game. CEO Adam Kicinski said that the studio would continue to remain quiet on the game until 2017, but the company has now revealed that the initial reveal was a way to gauge interest in the game, which is vastly different from The Witcher series. Joint CEO Marcin Iwinski said "We were super excited about the project internally, but what if it wasn't the right thing [for us]? But the response has been incredible. Now it's just up to us to deliver. We're hard at work on it." He also described some of the internal motivations at CD Projekt stating, "People might want to leave and go work on something else. We're excited to switch to guns. We intended to keep [the team] energized with Cyberpunk. The core team is working The Witcher 3's expansions, but more and more people are moving over onto Cyberpunk."
