More Arkham Knight Issues; GMG On Possible Refunds
The drama surrounding the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight continues to unfold. The good news (if you can call it that) is that Green Man Gaming says it will offer refunds...but only if you are still experiencing problems after the PC patch has been issued.

On a related note, the GMG & Playfire Community Blog has word from Green Man Gaming that they will offer refunds for Batman: Arkham Knight if "you still cannot play your game" after the release of the patch meant to address the PC issues that have some customers asking for their money back.

Samsung Deliberately Disabling Windows Update
This is odd. Why would Samsung deliberately disable Windows Update?

Cox Wants Rightscorp's Piracy Tracking Source Code
Something tells me these Rightscorp guys got more than they bargained for when they decided to go head to head with Cox.

Cox Communications, one of the largest Internet providers in the United States, has asked the court to order anti-piracy firm Rightscorp to hand over its tracking source code. The ISP describes the company's settlement scheme as extortion and hopes to punch a hole in its evidence gathering techniques.

How NASA Broke The Gender Barrier In STEM
I guess it would be in poor taste to suggest that the increase in female astronauts happens to coincide with the kitchen remodel on the International Space Station.

The notorious lack of women in leadership roles in STEM seems to run rampant everywhere—everywhere except NASA, an administration that not only puts women at the helm, but continually gives them a platform to drive the larger conversation around the need for more women in the sciences.

Angie's List Sues Amazon Local
I'm confused. How can Angie's List sue Amazon Local for using "stolen" information. Are you "stealing" information if you use a phone book to call a plumber?

Angie's List has filed suit against Amazon Local and several of its employees, claiming the online deals site used stolen information from Angie's List for its own business. The 42-page suit filed Friday accused Amazon Local of "unlawfully and unfairly competing" with Angie's List.

How 'Destiny' Lost Support Of Its Biggest Fans
If you are surprised by any of this, you obviously haven't played Destiny yet.

As E3 2015 wound down, an interview between Eurogamer and Luke Smith, Bungie's creative director on The Taken King, quickly derailed the game maker's momentum and turned Destiny's most supportive players against it. Just two days later, Bungie has inexplicably painted itself into a corner by dropping the ball for a second time.

How are these guys already talking about regulating the internet? I'll tell you what you can do with your "regulate the internet" proposals.

Google Accused Of "Abusive" Conduct In Privacy App Case
The allegations in this case are serious, but I find it rather interesting that a company made up of former Google engineers didn't know all this stuff about the search giant already.

An award-winning company founded by former Google engineers is taking legal action against the search engine giant over claims it has engaged in a "pattern of abusive behavior" and is violating privacy rights on a "massive scale."

Scythe Tatsumi CPU Cooler Review
The review crew at ThinkComputers has just finished putting the Scythe Tatsumi CPU cooler through its paces. Overall, it is a positive review.

Scythe might not be one of the big names you hear of when it comes to air CPU coolers. Their coolers typically do not have over-the-top designs or are all that flashy, but when it comes to performance they have always been solid, and of course that is what is most important when it comes to CPU coolers.

Siri's New Smart Home Already Needs Renovation
The Wall Street Journal seems more than a bit underwhelmed by Apple's HomeKit. Obviously they must be holding it wrong.

Unfortunately, Siri just isn't very reliable. I'm running the first HomeKit hardware in my house, with hubs by Insteon and Lutron Caséta, but when Siri gets involved, I sometimes want to throw the iPhone out the window. She should know all my HomeKit-connected devices by name, but when I say, "Turn on the air filter," Siri presents a list of stores where I might buy one.
